Typical treatment of a woman, by a mechanic...was referred to as "the broad with the breaks"I requested full break job - break pads and rotors in March. Got my car back and the rotors appeared rusted the next day. Found that odd, if they were new.About 3 weeks later I had a HORRIBLE vibration. Took my car to another mechanic and was told my rotors were never changed, just "shaved down" so I called Ralph back to see if he could look into this. He was willing to take the car in, but the tells me it's probably my calipers. He couldn't find my invoice to know what work he did on my car.I just don't trust this shop. I'll never go back. And yes, I had to pay ANOTHER shop to fix/replace my break pads and rotors.Hard lesson learned...don't ever let a mechanic know you're a women with even the slightest knowledge of car repairs....

Don't even bother with these jokers. Frank's Auto Repair is just a mile up the road and is a lot better - more professional - and "frankly" a lot smarter.

Excellent experience! Years ago I took a work seminar called the “Art of Wow”, at the time I thought it would be a waste of my time, but since then I use this as my standard of service. You can give someone what they expect, you can do a little extra and make them happier or you can give them service above & beyond to “Wow” them… I was given the Wow experience that made my entire day..it makes me want to go back to them for all of my services and recommend my friends to go there. Nice, fair and excellent service! It was reminiscent of service back in my grandparents day.

I wanted to let everyone know that Keith at Estabrook's Garage is great! My mother was on her way home after a long day beginning with a 5:00am appointment with my aunt in a Boston hospital and not arriving back to the Plaistow area until approximately 5:00pm, while driving, the car alerted her that she was losing air in her tire and it would be flat in a matter of minutes. She pulled into Estabrook's and Keith greeted her but told her they were closed. He noticed her tire and was so gracious to say that she could park her SUV in the garage for the night and once we could get her a new tire he would replace it. Thank you again Keith for being so caring! I will never forget what you did for my Mom!

I pass this shop every day and they're out there bright and early. However they close down for lunchtime, which is when I stopped by for an inspection sticker. I only had so much time for my lunch break so I had to go somewhere else. They didn't have a sign up or anything saying when they'd be back. Oh well.

My car was towed by the Newton Police (That's a story for another review) but the garage employee I spoke with (likely the owner) was polite and concise. He gave me a good deal on the storage of the vehicle for the duration of the mix-up and from what I can see took good care of the vehicle while it was in their possession.
