Went there for their recent open house and hosting of YouTuber 731 Woodworks Tools and Tailgates tour. It was a great day with giveaways, demos, people to meet and things to do.
First time at the store so of course had to look all around I'm sure I still didn't see everything.
Can't leave a place like that without scoring some new tools and accessories or supplies. Bought some stuff for carving. Could have gone crazy and broke the bank, but I kept it sane and just under $100 with some sale discounts.
Great service and great conversation with some of the presenters. I just wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.
Had to go back a week later to pick up one of the raffle prizes I won, so not a bad deal at all.

Had a great experience working with Lew. I had a project to complete with limited experience. He took the time to explain what I would need, how to do it properly, etc. Would highly recommend.

As a customer you would expect the sales staff not to lie. I bought 3 drawer slides, one was opened. I asked if everything was in it and joke if it works right?. He said it was just the plastic wrap came off so they repackaged it. Well someone had installed it and bent the inner slide so it does close properly. Now I have to drive back to return it. Given how empty and sad this store is I give 3 months until it closes. Buy online or shop somewhere else. Save time and gas.

This might be the right store for some, but NOT ME. If customer service is important head to Rocker. I will not supporting wood craft any longer. Such as shame.

the staff helps you no matter what you are doing. I took a bowl turning class today and he was very helpful with it, I've made pens and and he is very helpful on it,

Woodcraft has high quality products. If you are doing serious woodwork then this is a place you need to visit. But expect to pay a high price. Some of the people seem to be technically knowledgeable. The best plan is to know what you want before visiting and don't settle for less. I can say on the long term, none of the tools I have bought in the past 10 years have broken. Only negative I can think of is, I wish they had access to used products such as lathes.
