Welcome to "Monkey-ham Monkey-lectric" -- where a surly refusal to help and a "lead with 'no'" attitude eclipses the rampant ineptitude and ignorance. I encourage you to go to FW Webb, because Monkey-ham Monkey-lectric doesn't deserve your hard-earned money.After spending thousands here on Hubbardton Forge lamps, imagine my frustration when I needed warranty support on "Lifetime Warranty(ied)" table lamps. Imagine my complete disbelief when I showed up with the lamps in-hand for inspection, showed original receipts and original warranty cards, and was told in a series of unpolished, unprofessional refusals "Nope, uh-uh. Umm, no, can't help you" after [name withheld] finished her cursory glance at the receipts and warranty cards. Her monosyllabic guttural intonations were so convincingly proto-simian, that I had to pinch myself to confirm that I hadn't been magically transported the zoo. Upon later reflection, I realized that she must have been baffled or intimidated by the large words on the warranty card -- words like "warranty" and "lifetime" and "the."Apparently, she believed that the faulty switches in the lamps were not covered under the lifetime warranty...faulty switches that were causing sizzling noises and acrid odors not unlike an unladen cast iron skillet being super-heated on a gas stove top. After politely, but assertively arguing my interpretation of "lifetime warranty" -- apparently, she measures "lifetime" in relation to fruit flies, her nearest intellectual cousin-species -- she changed her tune to "We don't have the parts for these. They're back-ordered." She didn't expect that I'd agree to let her order the parts and insist that Monkey-ham Monkey-lectric hold the lamps onsite for repair. I didn't expect that M'ham-M'lectric would hold onto the lamps for more than 6 months and never reach out to me with status updates. And, I certainly didn't expect that upon retrieving my lamps that I would SO EASILY find a competitor with an eager repair staff with ready access to all manners of switches who could repair the lamps WHILE I WAITED.I won't name names, but it's clear that she's worked there for so long that she cannot be fired. Through a process of passive osmosis and decades of chair moistening, her institutional knowledge of Monkey-ham Monkey-lectric has put her in the "too big to fail" category, preserving her place at the Formica checkout desk.I struggle with the knowledge that a great lamp maker like Hubbardton Forge puts its product and reputation in the hands of such ungracious, unhelpful, and truly uncaring staff at Monkey-ham Monkey-lectric.I'm a FW Webb shopper from now on! They value their customers!

The lighting store in Newington is terrific. There are a lot of lights to chose from, different styles and price ranges, and the staff is really helpful and knowledgeable. I looked at big box stores, I looked at smaller lighting stores--this is worth the trip for selection and price.I had an issue with shipping an order and they resolved it, 100%. It their fault, it was the shipper, but they took care of it.

Wonderful selection of fixtures and competitive prices. Knowledgeable advice. They have become my go-to for lighting. They also do repairs and replaced a bad switch and lamp cord.

Rockingham truly rocks! Staff/team are experienced, knowledgeable and dependable. Prices and quality better than Home Depot or Lowe’s. We have been “infrequent” customers for 10+ years and they know us and treat us as if we buy regularly. Needed to price check something we bought in 2015 and they were incredibly helpful in helping us!

Went into the store with my mother on 3/9 to purchase a ceiling fixture. She found one she liked and it was on sale. It was clearly marked $150. When we got to the register we were told the price was $200 more than the ticketed price. The refused to honor their price on the tag and wouldn't make it right. Horrible customer service. They said they would give her a $25 coupom, but it couldn't be used on sale items.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a condo that looked like Something out of a bad 80s movie. Needless to say... We had a lot of renovations to do and a lot of lighting to choose for almost every room. The process has been extremely overwhelming and I was dreading having to choose so many new light fixtures with really no clue where to start. We went into Rockingham electric and we were paired up with Patricia Couture. This woman really knows her stuff and made our experience so effortless and actually FUN!!! She had so many suggestions and insight about certain things that I hadn't even thought of. I would highly recommend Rockingham Electric and ESPECIALLY Patricia to anyone who needed beautiful lighting in their home or business. I wish I had more rooms to fill with new lighting just to go back and have the same amazing experience again!!!!!! I will never trust anyone else with my lighting needs again. COMPLETELY SATISFIED!!!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service and communication with this company. We ordered lighting on 1/25/19 and were told the lighting would arrive 2/18/19. It is now 2/22/19 and after multiple emails and calls to the company we were told that our lighting was stuck on a container in china and would not be arriving until 3/25. This is unacceptable, I am opening a business, relying on this company to deliver our lighting when they said it would be delivered.
