1349 New Hampshire Rte 103, Newbury“My family has stayed at this hotel several times and I keep forgetting to write a review. The rooms are spacious and clean. The employees are ALWAYS very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is better than most continental hotel breakfasts. Prices are very reasonable. Really can’t say enough. We love this place.”
“We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was clean and well furnished. Stan and Oda are great hosts and helpful in advising on local attractions, such as dining and hiking. Stan's breakfasts were delicious. His muffins were the best we ever had.

“We stayed in a 2 br, 2 story “apartment” above the restaurant (which was excellent as well!).
Unit was clean, spacious, quiet and very well appointed!”
“I live near New London, and often go to dinner or lunch there. I am very happy with all of the restaurants in NL,but do not stay at the Inns.
Food & drinks: I live nearby, and I am always satisfied with the restaurant choices in New London”

467 Sunapee St, Newport“Newport Motel in Newport, New Hampshire has bare bones basics for a cozy over night very close to Mount Sunapee (ski) Resort in Newbury, NH. Patrick is very cool, down to earth and helped me over the phone to make a last-minute booking the day of!
Keep in mind this is a no-frills small basic motel (not hotel) room for an overnight with only the very basics. If you just need a place to crash in a small room with no restaurant, no swimming pool, no gym and none of the other bells and whistles, this place is perfect. I like the old school vibe of chatting with Patrick (the office manager) and being handed an old-fashioned key. I also feel good about supporting a local motel (owned by Tanya and Bruce) that’s not a corporate conglomerate. There was a note that their Wi-Fi is “not guaranteed” (I guess to function consistently) and it’s complementary. However, the Wi-Fi worked totally fine in my room and in fact, better than other motels I stayed at.
Also be mindful that the office closes at 8 PM (at least on Saturdays when I stayed) so I had to make sure to arrive before the office closes in order to get into my room.
Also know that rooms are close together, the wall seems thin and I did hear people hanging out in the other rooms. However, that’s the case with almost every motel I’ve ever stayed at and that doesn’t bother me.
I felt assured as the other surrounding hotels (which were booked) recommended Newport Motel as it seems that Tanya and Bruce are part of this town’s accommodations community!
Thanks so much, Patrick, Tanya, Bruce for a wonderful stay with my family. A+++ 5/5 stars.
Nearby activities: Skiing!
Newport Moto is conveniently close to Mount Sunapee ski Resort in Newbury, NH.”

1171 Brook Rd, Goshen“Such a nice hotel in country side. We are feeling very well in this calm hotel. Big common open room with many tables, chairs, couch and free service like coffee machine and tea. The only bad point is the room, we were on the « Mass Creek » room, big room with private bathroom, but the bed is pretty bad (too much soft, we rolled on each other all along the night). The isolation is not that good too, a big cold air flow in our head.Otherwise, I will recognize 100% to anyone want a rest in a relaxing place. I love this place.Rooms: Bad isolation, bed too soft.”
“Great little family-run inn that is a superb value for the area. No frills but very clean and well run. Close enough to Mt. Sunapee (1-2 minutes) and some local eateries to be very convenient. Great views of Lake Sunapee, too.”
