What a great shop , such cool things, going to such a great cause! This is a treasure trove in the Sunapee region. The big lakefront estates donate the most awesome furniture, that half our home is furnished by the shop. Have gotten tools, paintings, books, sporting equipment etc as well. . Also great for finding gifts for ALL OCCASIONS! You must stop in and see what they have!

Very high priced and don't understand where the revenues go as they are not reflected in the prices of the VNA, services continue to be difficult to pay for. Great things

Found 2 gorgeous paintings there at a great price. Everything at the shop is really clean, in great condition, and high quality. A very well done shop that is also run by very friendly people. I go back every time I'm in the area for great deals and to support a volunteer run, charitable business.

I donate to, & shop, regularly at the fabulous Renaissance Shoppe. All staff here are volunteers, all proceeds go to the Visiting Nurses Association & one gets a charitable donation receipt for tax purposes. What could be better than that? I love bringing guests here on a rainy afternoon to hunt for treasures. Plenty of nooks & crannies to explore & some real finds, for a good cause. I am surprised at the negative reviews. I have always found the staff helpful & pleasant. Yes, there is another second-hand shop just down the street but it is a for-profit store with paid employees. Be a little charitable & give these kind volunteers & the VNA a break!

We bought a huge work station and were quoted "$25 per hour for delivery. The salesperson DID NOT advise it was $25 PER person. (BEWARE...the delivery men are like a bull in a china shop! Rushed around and hap-hazard! Didn't take their time getting this furniture into our home. Scratched our newly painted walls !!) The delivery fee wasn't the issue . Their delivery men are hap-hazard and clumsy. The office staff has a huge gap in communication , rude sales staff and MUCH of their items are simply overpriced . Not to mention when I went in to purchase the workstation , I checked it out thoroughly seeing it needed pins to hold a shelf and they were missing . I brought it to the salespersons attention to see if she had them availableand she rudely told me it didn't need pins , twice. So, I handed her the shelf. She didn't say a word. I realize they work in donations , however, I'd rather just donate to he VNA in the future than deal with their rude staff!

Two shops. One upscale, the other thrifty. See both. And what a great cause.

Like any thrift store, sometimes I leave with a bunch, other times with nothing at all. I love that it is volunteer run and all proceeds go to supporting the VNA (Visiting Nurse Association). You'll find a lot of furniture, household goods, rugs, some linens, mirrors, and framed pictures. There is a small toy section in the barn area. The main room has some higher end things like fine china and nicer furniture and decor pieces. While often prices are fair, there are some items that are quite over-priced. I always enjoy stopping by if I find myself in New London.
