I just wanted to say how much of a blessing the manager of the night is!!! She is working so hard making pizza and multitasking she hasn’t stopped to rest her bones like the others! She should get a raise every time I have been here she is flying around others she’s bomb!!!

No visit to Merrymeeting Lake is complete without lunch from the New Durham General Store. They also have reasonably priced Merrymeeting Lake hats and shirts. We tried the Ruben panini, gilled chicken panini, Italian sub and buffalo chicken salad. Everything was very good. Our only regret was waiting until the end of our trip to give them a try.

Good service, cozy environment, neat trinkets, and the food is great. 10/10 Potato Wedges, pretty good pizza and good tenders.

I have now routinely ordered Turkey and Cheese wraps when I'm in the area From New Durham General Store and I absolutely have never been let down, always fresh, loaded with what I ask to have in it and it's always delicious. The service is great as well, always friendly staff. I'm so glad I happened to "grab a wrap quickly" that first day I tried them, as it's now my when in the area local lunch stops!

Order out at least once a week. Friendly staff that knows your name. Groceries are expensive, but it's good when you're in a pinch.

They have gotten much better over the years and always a quick stop to grab roadies or a sandwich on the way home. During the summer, it’s conveniently on the way to the lake and easy to pick up a pizza to bring out on the boat. Owner makes things right if order is wrong, good place.
