Magnificent quiet place, beautiful beach, very large games for children, toilets, BBQ to bring briquettes, lots of big trees, lots of picnic tables, lots of parking, beautiful view. Well worth the $15

Nice little beach. Not crazy or trashy like most of the other beaches on the NH seacoast. The charge per vehicle to get in is probably responsible for that and worth every penny.
Restrooms: Not great, but clean enough and sufficient for changing and using a toilet while at the beach.
Picnic area: Snag one of the coveted shade trees or bring a blanket to put out on the large grassy areas. Plenty picnic spots.

Parked my RV camper here and was planning on enjoying a day at the beach with my ex wife and four boys and the crazy residents started yelling at me that it I needed to move and the road was private property! I have never met such disrespectful people in my entire life, so selfish and entitled I couldn’t believe it. Our holding tank in the RV was getting backed up so I started to flush it on the side of the road knowing it would run into the ocean and a bunch of people freaked out and threaten to call the cops on me. Losers!!!!!

A beautiful clean little beach with lighthouse views, hundreds of flat skipping rocks and low tide pools

Giving it a 3 because I didn't hit any rocks with my prop. Would have been a 5 but I didn't catch anything.?

Not as good as old castle beach. The newer castles just don't have the same vibe.

This is a semi private beach. There's no parking . It is a "permit parking only" the views are amazing but reserved for the residents I guess! Too bad for NH

Smaller than the Hampton ?️ Beaches, especially during high tide ?, it still is very scenic with views of two lighthouses and all types of sailing craft that pass by. Can get a little crowded.Primary access is through Great Island ?️ Common, though, there is a small street that ends at the beach ⛱️. Parking ?️ is limited to residents with parking stickers.Bring bug ? repellent. I have been bitten a few times. Large amounts of seaweed attract the little buggers! The recent fireworks ? show was interesting, but, very short. Even the Thomas Leighton showed up to party ?!I recommend a visit if you visit Great Island Common.

Always a great time to visit with my family. There were some baby birds on our last trip up there and they were so cute. Really glad we were able to see such beauty.
