If I could give no stars I would. Scott manager and GM manger are disgusting representations and managers of this awful company. So rude, unprofessional, snarkiest ppl, liars, false quotes and games. It's appalling on all levels. Will never give uhaul another dime as I will never rent or do biz with them ever again. I Was also threatened by the "GM" who was verbally abusive etc over me wanting them to honor a quote that was in a recorded phone call with customer service that was also verified. Not very smart on his part. DO NO GO HERE OR HSE UHAUL!!!!

This is a pretty run-of-the-mill U-Haul, semi-conveniently located next to the Pheasant Lane Mall. Which inexorably means making a box turn (or 3 lefts) just to get to the place if you're arriving from the northeast. The parking lot is pathetically tiny. We're talkin' microcosmic here. I drive a compact SUV and I STILL had trouble parking comfortably. I don't even wanna know what the truck drivers must go through. So anyways, I came here to get my propane tank refilled. The cool part about this is the pump they use is right out front by the entrance way to the parking lot. They take your payment via mobile phone so you don't have to worry about trudging all the way back into the main building to pay. The only thing I can't speak too highly on are the staff. I mean, yes...they are representative of the typically iconic New Hampshirite; what, with their gruff social exterior and all. But this can also border on a$$hole vibes, depending on the nuances. There's not a lot of professional decorum here, is all I'm sayin'. Other than that, it's a relatively straightforward operation. I really only see myself coming here on occasion to refill my propane tank. The rates for which are very affordable, btw. I give this U-Haul 3 compact cars parked in even more compact parking lots out of 5.

I am writing to formally complain about the quality of customer care at the UHaul of Nashua Pheasant Lane. Three or four weeks ago, I had called their store and asked for a trailer hitch installation with a wiring kit for my car. Was told that the hitch was no longer commonly in stock and had to be special ordered, so agreed and waited for a call back. Waited approximately three weeks with no call or update, called a few days ago and was told the hitch had just arrived, so set an install date/time to bring my car in, I live up to an hour away. When making the install appointment and also when I ordered the hitch, on each call I made it clear I had previously purchased an induction non-intrusive trailer wiring harness and that I would prefer they use that kit instead of splicing into the car's wiring harness. They had previously ordered and sold me such a kit which did not function properly on our newer vehicle but was told by the manufacturer it would work on the older car. UHaul of Nashua agreed to attempt to install the induction trailer wiring harness first and then install a splice kit if the induction kit would not work reliably - I confirmed this with their agent on both calls. On the day of install, I called before I left to insure all the parts and installers were there and ready to do the job, they seemed puzzled at first, then looked at their schedule and saw the installation booking and said come on in. On arrival, they looked up my name and (not realizing I was the owner of the car), said "Mr. (name edited) will be here to drop off his car for a hitch install only". I introduced myself as the owner of the car and added that I was expecting them to do the wiring harness installation as well. At this point, the owner of the store stepped into the discussion and instructed me to "bring him the wiring harness". I returned to my car and retrieved two harnesses, one which uses induction, one which does not. I handed him the box and said they could use either of those (which they had sold me previously), or they could install what they had in stock that they knew would work. They removed the harnesses from the box and looked at them as though they'd never seen a wiring harness in their lives. When inspecting the induction harness, the installer tech claimed they don't work and they always have trouble installing them - seeming not to understand though they sold me the harness. I was immediately asked for a receipt which was already in the box. At this point, the owner's helper is looking up the make/model of the vehicle and claims there is no aftermarket wiring kit for my car. They never made mention of this previously (on both calls) when asked to install a wiring harness. After a few minutes of back and forth, the owner hands me back the box as though I had handed him a dead cat and made a show of wiping his hands free of whatever he feared was on it. He states he will not authorize his tech to install the wiring kit and refuses the job and makes no apology for the misinformation. When I point out that he will have to eat the cost of the custom fabricated hitch he just shrugs his shoulders as if he could care less. He then offered to sell me just the hitch at his cost - again not even feigning a sense of customer service or satisfaction. At this point I said you've lost my business forever and would move the discussion to the court of public opinion. If I were asked to recommend this UHaul franchise I would strongly recommend you consider going elsewhere. Should you have any issues with their services or products and need to seek management support, it's not likely you're going to get it. This owner clearly has not embodied the mantra "It takes a lifetime to earn a customer and a second to lose one". For all the times I've done business here previously and the goofiness and inept/weird customer service I've received in the past, this was too much, never going back.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! The worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I went in to rent a van to move a couch to my house. The guy (didn't catch his name) was nice at first. But he was very dirty with long hair and long dirty fingernails. When I didn't have a major credit card (I had a debit card linked to my own bank account) he said he couldn't rent a van to me if I didn't get the $10 accident coverage. I have rented at least six times in the past three months and never ran into this issue. When I declined he just stared at me until I walked away then condescendingly said "have a nice day". I went to another uhaul near my house and I didn't have an issue with insurance or type of credit card. I am pretty turned off by uhaul trying to upsell to me instead of just trying to help me. I won't be back to this uhaul ever and I encourage others to avoid it too!

This place is a mess. Staff doesn't know what they are doing. Are where the trailers are... when your paying for your time to use one you'd like them to know where it is...

Worked with Dennis on a trailer hitch for a new BMW X3. The dealer wanted $2500 and could only do a roof rack. I called and spoke with Dennis and he explained it was simple and they do a lot of these cars from the same dealer. We had a delay in shipment of parts and Dennis kept in touch and was polite and professional. The job was completed in less time then he stated and he even helped me attach the bike rack. Very pleased!

I'm give one star because I'm not able to give half a star. I had made a reservation a week ahead for a 26'. They emailed me back stating they had one in a different location, which for me it was inconvenient. I called back and said that location was inconvenient for me and they said we can offer you a 20'. I accepted. When I went on the date to pick up the 20' they tell me they didn't have any 20' all they had was a 15', which it doesn't not work for me at all. I told her that the 15' was to small and that meant I had to take more trips and that mean more money. She said to call 1800-go-uhaul to see if they would work with me and help me out. I called and they did nothing. The lady that picked up the phone was rude. Then she told me I had to call back the store location to talk to a general manager. So I called back and they were talking for about 10 minutes and no one had come to talk to me ans say if they were going to offer me a type of discount because that was the employee fault for not doing he's job correctly. When my husband went to ask the manager to please explain to me if they were going to help us with the millage situation he said rudely he didn't need to speak to anyone to explain anything about the mileage. So we had to cancel everything. So due to the employee who clearly didn't do he's job we had to cancel everything and lost a weekend of move. So inconvenient for us. The general manager not professional at all and real rude. They weren't helpful at all. I won't go there again at all. I won't recommend that place to anyone either.

A very unfortunately unprofessional U-Haul shop here. The guy that was working the desk (Joe/Giuseppe) was incredibly rude, clearly hates his job and treats everybody accordingly. The manager (I think his name was Clay or something like that) was good, though, and I hope he's given the personnel resources he needs to turn this place around. Beware of using online reservations or reservations via the 800 number for this location. I showed up with a 20' truck worth of stuff to drop off in a storage unit after an incredibly long day of moving, and they didn't have any units available. Not cool. I highly suggest making the extra trip to the other U-Haul in Nashua on Northwest Blvd if you desire reliable and professional customer service.

Please hire humans!!! The after 7pm vehicle return process requires using a smart phone (which makes you take pictures and input all the information YOURSELF) SUCKS!

I had a trailer hitch installed on my 2014 BMW M-Sport 328i Wagon. Brand new (to me) car which I had for 4 days, so I was beyond nervous when I dropped it off. I spoke with Andre over the phone who explained everything to me and gave me enough confidence to go with them over a local BMW-specific shop. My car is a bumper-off install, so it's a lot more involved than most cars (lots of sensors and whatnot in the bumper cover, etc). They did a perfect job - it took under two hours, the install was spotless and the price was extremely competitive - Right around $250 for the whole job (class 1, no lights), including parts and a lifetime warrantee. The install looks factory perfect and everything worked out great. Five stars from me - very satisfied with everything from the phone call, to the install, to the checkout process.

I called U-Haul corporate customer service 4 times and told them that if they would not listen to my complaint and help remedy the situation that I would be posting my complaint publicly on YELP. After 5 phone calls, and speaking with 4 various customer service representatives from the corporate office, I've decided to post this negative review. My husband and I reserved a U-Haul at the Nashua, NH location. I am 40 weeks pregnant and live 5 minutes from the location. We chose U-Haul because of the short drive and convenience. We booked well in advance, and even called to confirm. The day we moved, we were told that our UHAUL was in Lowell (30 minutes south) and not in Nashua. Before we drove the 30 minutes to Lowell, we called to confirm that our UHAUL was there and available. We drove 30 minutes to Lowell, waited 30 minutes in line, only to be told that our UHAUL was not available (despite calling to confirm just 30 minutes before). At this point, the movers had arrived at our apartment... They were locked out because we were dealing with the UHAUL issue. We were paying hourly for the movers. We were told that the closest available location was in Derry, NH (30 minutes north of Lowell, and 40 minutes from our apartment). We ended up driving the additional 1.25 hours to pick up/bring back the UHAUL at the new location. Our movers waited 1.5 hours for us in total... Mistakes happen, but what was the most disappointing was the UHAUL corporate customer service. I called 4 times... Call #1: I was told that at this point there was nothing they could do and that I could call back in 48-72 hours to speak to a manager. Call #2: I was told the same information, and that I needed to return equipment to file a complaint. Call #3: I was transferred to a corporate manager. He was rude and incompetent. He put me on hold without telling me. I was on hold for 15 minutes (with no explanation) and disconnected by UHAUL. Call #4: I was on hold for 30 minutes waiting to be transferred to a corporate manager before I was disconnected again by UHAUL. Each time I called, I told them that I would be posting a review on YELP if this was not resolved. I will not be doing business with this company again. * In 2014, I reserved a UHAUL in Norwood, MA and my reservation was lost. The truck was unavailable on moving day. I had to go with a different company.

Staff was so helpful when I needed to rent a truck. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Helped me with getting type/size of boxes I needed. Definitely would use them again!

Very good customer service. I booked 15ft truck for 4 PM and they were able to give it by 2 PM itself. Very cooperative and no issues at all. No tricks no hidden charges.
