Ordered a “mule chest” from Pompanoosuc Mills. We had It modified from the standard design and had it made of natural finish cherry. The drawer fronts horizontally were made from full width of the chest, boards. This allowed the grain pattern to continue continuously, horizontally across the drawer fronts. A VERY nice detail I have not even seen in Stickley case goods. The inset drawer design had completely uniform gap spacing around the drawers. Most manufacturers don’t even attempt this. Expensive but then if your grandkids inherit it, it’s really not.

From the show room designers to the delivery personnel, the care to detail and incredible customer satisfaction service was exemplary. I can’t say enough about how incredible Tory and Barbara were. I highly recommend shopping in the Nashua showroom!!! Pompanoosic mills is an incredibly ethical and quality company on every level!

Fantastic furniture, hand made in Vermont. Unless you pick up something off the floor, orders are custom made. They'll tweak just about anything you like, so you end up with exactly what you want. The staff in the store are always very helpful in suggesting what pieces might work best in your specific situation.

I recently assisted my mom with a sofa and chair purchase at this location. We had done some furniture shopping elsewhere and neither of us were particularly impressed with the offerings at other stores. I'm pretty sure she had her heart set on the items she ended up buying here, but the prices are enough to make anyone pause, and she wanted to check out the competition. So we both found out that there really is no competition for Pompanoosuc Mills. If you have an eye for quality, you'll probably understand as soon as you walk through the door, as this furniture is gorgeous. Simple, tasteful and elegant. I was impressed with the fabric choices and the different finishes they offer on the wood. All of these items are locally made at their Vermont factory, so you're supporting American made when you shop here. While I know that the prices might seem high to some, these pieces are not mass produced, and each is made to order. There's nothing like handcrafted, heirloom quality furniture. David and Barbara were both exceptionally helpful and patient, and both of them spent considerable time with us explaining our options and helping us make choices. Go in and check out this beautiful showroom!
