Disappointed. I haven't switched yet but am starting to get some price quotes. Last year they didn't show up and we were on their regular delivery plan. This year I got charged for oil but there was no receipt or anything. The gal in their office said that it had been delivered but their ticketing system didn't work. She said our meter must be broken... it's a 2 year old oil tank. She sent over receipts but they were dated for last year (2022). She mailed the same receipt with a note that confirmed oil was delivered but the driver didn't have the right date. Today, someone came by and confirmed that NO OIL was delivered - tank almost empty. They called to say they'd credit my account and come back to deliver oil. Nice but how about an apology? Very disappointed.

Ordered oil on Tuesday to be delivered Wednesday. Kept calling back and they kept telling me it was coming on a different day. I had to cancel the order 6 days later because they never showed up. Now i have to pay extra for oil because the prices have gone up in the meantime. Do not recommend

If you want to come home to a bill for a service you didn't request, use McLaughlin Oil.We had 150 gallons delivered a month ago and they took it upon themselves to decide we needed more! When we called about this we were told that they had tried calling and the voicemail was full, which apparently means they are able to make the executive decision to deliver and charge for a service that wasn't requested. The day of the un-requested delivery, we told them we will not be paying for it and they can come drain it. They had to review everything and discuss with their supervisors - fine. The first call back (not from a supervisor) the woman admitted it was an error on their end and when we again said we will not be paying for it said "can we at least set up a payment plan?" Again, no - you can come drain it and again "we will call you back." No call back for hours, so we reach out again and "manager is reviewing and will reach out tomorrow. 9:30am - still nothing so we call again and are told the manager will reach out later. Finally get a call around 11:30am today from presumably the owner. He states yet again that it was an issue on their end (they signed us up for automated refills and their system notified them it was likely time for a refill)We have a 275 gallon tank, they added 144.9 gallons. I'm no mathematician, but I'm pretty sure that means we still had 130 gallons. After stating again, I will not be paying, I was offered a whole $75 discount. When I again stated that we will not be paying for it and they can come drain it, I was told to "stop getting so worked up," and "it's not like it leaked and my house caught fire," or "there are worse things that could be happening like being diagnosed with cancer and having one week to live." Well sir, you have no idea what is going in other people's lives. And I will leave it at that.

During a super cold snap I called my existing oil company, Rymes (see Google review of Rymes!) who told me that I could not get a delivery for a week. I live with elderly In-laws and needed oil. Shai and the awesome people at McLaughlin came through quickly and with exceptional customer service. Need a new oil company, go with McLaughlin-you will not be disappointed!

In 2017 I was using Nashua Fuel & they didn't deliver oil as planned. So I had to get diesel fuel to pour into fill pipe over a frigid weekend. I contacted Shay & delivery was on its way. They are the best! Thank U

No good.I called this morning at 11am and asked for new service. I just moved into town and need a FULL tank of home heating oil. I spoke with a woman who took my information and said she will get the message out to her driver, Taylor and that either her or Taylor would call me when she was on the way to my house. Im moving in this weekend, I told her I wouldnt be there until they called. She never gave a time frame or anything, she just said she'd give the message.. Anyway, here comes 4pm and my fiance is calling me (they took both of our numbers) saying that the oil company called him and said they have been banging on the door for 10 minutes they need to prime the furnace.....I called the number that called him and said they called the wrong number and that they were supposed to call ne on the way to my place. Got an attitude and she said well im here so no worries. I said im on my way give me 10 min. She hung up.I got there in 10 minutes like i said and she was gone. I called her 4 times, no answer. I called the office, told the lady who answered what happened and she had no idea what i was talking about. Then the woman i spoke with this morning called me and said that Taylor was waiting for 15 minutes and had to nother delivery so she left..Needless to say theyre not getting my $700 cash ??
