I think Macys is having trouble finding employees. They aren't alone in this. Yet there eventually is going to be changes, and not sure if easy answers. Technology could help with self checkouts perhaps, although that might irritate some consumers. The folks here who do work are excellent. It's not their fault, and always have found service here good.Sales aren't what they used to be. Admittedly we are in an era of inflation. I also wish they have more active men's clothing. Still they are great for colognes, suits, and quite often dress shoes. Macys is probably the best department store. If you're in the area this works.

Just a head's up to anyone shopping at Macy's who is encouraged to apply for their Macy's American Express Card upon purchase and receive 12 months of interest free payments on their purchase. We purchased a king size bed and bedframe in October of 2019. My husband applied and was approved for the credit card. Upon receipt of first bill, I immediately set up our payments online to be sure every month was paid to take advantage of 12 month interest free. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that we had indeed been charged interest every month and after contacting Macy's several times since October of 2020, we at first were passed over to other departments, claiming it was their responsibility, and finally being told it would be "looked into" and we would should contact them back in 2 weeks. We did, and were told that they didn't have a record of any of this and then we went through the entire runaround again, and were told that we should see it rectified within one billing cycle. We waited and nothing, contacted Macy's again and were basically sent through the same runaround and told again that we should see it rectified in the next billing cycle. Here we are, January 2021, I just spoke with them again and once again was given the response, it can take one to TWO billing cycles. Clearly this is not going to resolve without us reaching out to other venues to help resolve this situation. DO NOT TRUST MACY'S TO STAND BEHIND ANYTHING! We will never do business with them again, but we WILL get what is owed to us regardless of what avenue we have to take.

I went in today and went to the counter to check out and stood there waiting for someone to show up to help me. After a couple of minutes a sales associate ( a man with a short beard) came to the counter, didn't look at me and immediately turned his back on me while he did whatever it is he was doing. He was there maybe 30 seconds and then walked off without even acknowledging that a customer was standing there. I must have had steam coming out of my ears because someone in a suit came over and asked if I had been helped. I told him what happened and no apology or anything. He simply did not care. I mentioned this to a woman working there who looked liked management and even pointed out the man who ignored me. She said she was going to mention it to someone but seriously, this Macys is off the chain horrible. Store manager should be fired. I wish I lived closer to Mall of MH location. This Macys feels like bargain basement shopping. Get your act together!

9/9/2019: What is going on with this Nashua NH Macys? I tried to shop there this weekend and was so disappointed with the very poor selection of clothing! Most everything was drab and of poor quality! If this is what Macys is becoming I will not be wasting my time.

I had a problem with a toster oven .They took care of it with no problem I all so a mix up with the online order again they took care it with no problem They have great customer service When you shopping at Mancy they have employee that know what the product will do or how did will fit on you . Much better than going on line and have someone reading from a srip. They have Great customer service

I all ways received great service at this Mancy The men's department Allen is the great. He will help you out to find what you are looking for. The House Department it's also great I've already shaped great service and the cashier will also help you find it the product that you're looking for to fit your needs. They will not try to oversell you I'll show you something you don't need. we are frequent Shoppers are Macy's we find the Nashua store to be the best in customer service

The old ladies working here always provide really bad service , especially the saleswomen work at coach counter named Patricia and the old manger with blond short here wear a glass. They said why they treat customers rude and cold is because they work here over 15 years. They always give customer anger and poker face, and use cold and aggressive voice. We are coming here for shopping, we are not your prisoner, there is no reason for you to talking to customers like that. I just asked all my friends not come to this store any more, go to Manchester or Salem , people there are much more nicer!

I purchased shoes online that didn't fit-too large. Went to the physical store the next day to return them.The cashier at the shoe department gave me an accusatory look and asked me if I had worn them. I said to try them on to see if they fit. She was very rude about it.The store itself doesn't have much to offer. All the salespeople were chit-chatting amongst themselves and pretending to be busy so they wouldn't have to help people.
