I have been a BJs shopper for over 15 years and am unfortunately canceling my membership and trying Costco after the horrible experience I just had at the Nashua NH location. This location has been going downhill for years: items are constantly out of stock, employees are miserable, tires services are impossible to schedule etc.. the app glitches like many other apps do, oftentimes not pulling every clipped coupon off the purchase and resulting in a trip to customer service which is a pain.
Today I was at the Nashua location having another underwhelming experience. I go up to self checkout scan all of the items and put the light on for assistance as the Claritin coupons did not come off, the PopTarts coupon did not come off and an “exclusively for you” for frozen Tyson chicken. One of the very sullen front end women that always works there, comes over and is immediately rude and cuts me off several times as I am speaking. She was aggravated that I asked for the Claritin to be voided, the pop tarts coupon also had a fuel perk with it. She puts in a generic 2 dollar coupon which takes care of the missing coupon issue but doesn’t assign the fuel perk to me. I tried 3 different times to ask this woman how the fuel perk would be added to my account when she just added a generic coupon to offset it. She would not let me finish speaking once, very rudely telling me that the fuel perk won’t show on the checkout screen (which I am fully aware of). I asked her to not speak to me the way she was and she responds that I need to stop getting upset in the most condescending tone then walks away. I left and still of course know that I will not be receiving the fuel perk I should be credited. I was a retail director for 15 years and fully understand how her job functionally works and where she failed miserably. Retail companies need to truly start taking
seriously the culture they are allowing in their store and hold teams accountable.

What can I say? Groceries in bulk, cheaper than retail, great selection. Use the BJ's app to scan items while you shop and skip the register!

So this morning, I called BJ’s because I wanted to check and make sure that they repair tires which they do, anyways when I had called I gave them my location and so they said that there was availability. They had bays available, and I could go there and they would service my tire. I didn’t need an appointment. So I drive all the way to the store under the impression that I’m going to get my tire patched. I get there and wait forever for the person to acknowledge my existence, because there’s only one person running the entire tire center. I’m told they can’t service my car, without apology. They can’t help me for over a week that he’s booked straight out. I’m like that’s not what I was told on the phone. So while I was in there I called back the representative that had gave me that information in the first place. So I guess I pay for an elite membership at BJ’s for nothing because if I’m not buying four new tires I don’t rate, because all I want is to get a patch on my tire. I watched the bay sit empty for 20 minutes while I was on the phone lodging my complaint. I was offered 20 rewards loaded to my account. Which I never received. This corporation charges every single one of its members for the privilege to shop there or to obtain the tire services but they don’t want to pay employees. My daughter has applied for that tech position twice in the past two months And she has experience and they still haven’t hired her. So BJ’s is taking everybody’s memberships taking that money freely, aren’t you? but when it comes to me getting the service that I’m paying for ……all crickets…….because you don’t wanna put anybody in those spots you don’t wanna pay another employee do you ? DO BETTER BJ’s!
Not sure I want to pay another year of $110 just to be told I have to wait, because BJ’S doesn’t want to hire people and overwork the one employee they have!

Not all the products are well shelved, but packaging is small in general for the small size family.

Just went through the entire store. Got everything I needed and went to checkout and there were no cashiers. Self checkout only. Left my full carriage and walked out.

BJs is the best place to really help budget your money. With seven children and four pets in our home, it is a no-brainer to shop as cost-effective as possible. BJs has made that happen for years.Double stack BJs coupons with manufacturers' coupons and get the greatest deal!!

Worst placed gas station. People trying to get in block DW highway. You could fix this by making the driveway longer.
