3 Years ago I purchased 2 recliners and a love seat. I was also sold the 5-year protection plan. When the recliners were delivered after One Week the footrest bracket started tearing into the fabric below the armrest. I called the customer service line and was essentially no questions asked.... we'll replace it. I must state I live alone but ordered two, so I had room for at least another guest. This past month the other chair started to tear in the same spot. I literally had to file the sharp edge to stop it from spreading. I called service dept and they sent out what I thought was a repair person. I also asked for a copy of the furniture protection plan so I would know what was covered. I remember being told that if I had any issues in 5 years, they would honor it. He showed up, snapped pics, said they would review it and get back to me in 5-7 working days. He also stated that he wasn't the one to make any decisions he was just there to gather facts. Someone would review and probably try to haggle me down. I just called after not hearing back after over 2 weeks and was told that the recliner had residual damage and the case was closed. I only started this process because of the protection plan. He offered no solutions or advice. The CSR said the repairperson had determined the outcome. HUH? I request a refund for the 3 protection plans since they are essentially useless. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER but of course was told one would call me back. I always thought Bernie and Phyl's was a respectable and honorable business. However, their word is mud. I had to call the service department 2 years after I had purchased a set of bunk beds. I misplaced the dowels that support the 2 beds when they are "bunked". Stephanie was so very very helpful and was able to resolve my issue that very day. She was so kind and helpful in trying to resolve the issue. This store will always be my choice for any furniture purchases in the future!!

The sales rep, whose name was Mike, showed us several different models of beds. Each with a different level of comfort or firmness. He made us aware that the base unit is the same for all beds, but the difference is in the height of the mattress at the level of support of foam versus Springs. He did a very good job of explaining things to us, and once we decide to buy. He made the financing arrangements very easy.

We had a great experience. Phil was attentive and helpful but not pushy, and gave us space to think and make decisions on our own. There were lots of choices and options. As with most businesses these days, you need to be patient with delivery times.

From start to finish, we had a great experience with B&P. They had a great selection in Nashua of SMALL dining room sets. We were very happy to have a selection (which we did not find in any of the 3 previous places we shopped). Katie was awesome. Helpful without doing a hard sell. Today, truck 208 with Mike and Jeramie did a fantastic job delivering our dining set. They were friendly, respectful and helpful. We could not ask for better. B&P is lucky to have them on their team. Thanks B&P! We will shop with you again when we need furniture.

We were able to browse the showroom and without sales people “breathing “ down our backs trying to sell us something. We had in our mind what we were looking for. We took pictures and went to the other furniture stores and compared. We came back and purchased what we chose and were helped quickly and professionally.

Buyer beware. If you pay in full for items IN STOCK and set up delivery for "X date", and someone else buys the same item but wants it a week earlier, they will get the furniture and you are screwed because now it's on backorder. Go to Jordans instead.

Sal Maldonado was a sales agent. He was awesome. He allowed us to look around and check things out and if we had questions he was available to point us in the right direction. We made a great selection. It was very knowledgeable about the product which we purchased and we really appreciated that and we’re happy with our purchase.

I ordered a new bedroom set including a king-size bed frame, two night stands, and a dresser. When everything was delivered we noticed the dresser had a hole in the back, some of the laminate was coming off and scratches throughout. We contacted the store and they agreed to replace it however they were currently out of stock and wouldn't have any till the end of the month. 3 weeks go by and I haven't heard anything from the store about scheduling a time to drop off the new dresser and pick up the broken one. I decided to call to get an update only to be informed that they still have none in stock and they won't have any till mid September. Why nobody thought to call me to give me an update I have no idea, but my partner and I will continue to be storing our clothes in garbage bags until further notice. They did agree to come pick up the broken one in the interim however it should have never left the facility in the first place.

We love shopping at Bernie & Phyl’s. The sales team truly has a “no pressure” approach. Super helpful, but not hovering. Our salesman introduced himself when we arrived in the mattress department, let us know he was there to help if we needed him, and then let us shop in piece. When we were ready to buy, he was right there and was super helpful! Great experience!

We had a wonderful experience purchasing a living room set from Becky at the Nashua location. We do not have the furniture yet so this is purely a review of our customer service experience. We wouldn't hesitate to return for future purchases. Becky was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It was a very pleasant experience and we can't wait to get our new furniture!
