After having a horrific experience purchasing an LG refrigerator that began in July and didn’t end until October, I decided to go through Baron’s and I am BEYOND HAPPY with my experience! Jenny was a fantastic sales associate and made the buying experience smooth and without hiccup. The delivery gentlemen, Sebastian was the driver, were professional, kind and arrived on time and delivered our new Frigidaire refrigerator without any issues. I don’t have enough words or stars to express how happy I am with my experience. Thank you Baron’s!!

So I still haven’t heard from Charlene from barons in Nashua.
I will keep posting once a week until we hear from her.
My wife called Friday and so they say she was in a corporate meeting.
Told my wife she would call her Saturday.never got a call. Called today she was in a meeting with an employee.would call her back never got a call. I don’t know WHY SHE’S NOT RETURNING OUR CALL!!!

Update!!
Charlene did get back to us and it was a communication issue between the vendor and Barrons.
She thought the vendor was taking care of the issue and the vendor wasn’t. So we finally got everything sorted out and the issue is being taken care of. I thank Charlene for going above and beyond to take care of the issue. I do recommend Barons for future appliances.
Charlene was very professional in dealing with us.

Charlene, the manager at the Baron's Appliance in Nashua NH needs to be commended for her OUTSTANDING customer service! Our dishwasher broke down and needed a major part. Charlene was so helpful and took care of our needs immediately!

Bought a dryer. It was just installed, in like 10 minutes. Quick and easy. They even took a door off and put it back on in the same amount of time.
On the point of sales end, salesman was friendly, store was friendly. We've been suffering with a loud and squeaky dryer for like 2 years now, so this was a good experience. Will update if something bad happens but as of right now I have no evidence to not award five stars.

Great customer service and delivery. Baron's sent a installer back after we had a problem with the dishwasher not draining. He was able to determine that the garbage disposal plug needed to be popped out and fixed it immediately. Thank you, Desmond!

They didn't tighten the new hoses to connect the washer, we paid for this service Luckily, I had a water alarm ring!

I needed a new dryer fast for a family of 7 with 4 children under 6 and a newborn. The dryer I wanted that would match my washer was unavailable everywhere but Baron’s. I completed the entire transaction online with Katie who was very helpful in getting me what I needed quickly. When every other store had a 3 week wait for delivery, Baron’s got it to me within 4 days. The delivery drivers were friendly and efficient. A great experience all around.

Went to Baron’s website to see their hours. Ended up chatting with a representative for assistance which turned into a sale. Scheduled convenient delivery and delivery people were simply amazing. My back appreciates not having to have to move an old washer and dryer let alone dolly a new one to my second floor. There is a reason I only get appliances from Barons. Great service everyone!

We made the choice to work with Barron's because they were local, had a much more interesting universe of choices and because it felt much more personal during the sale than the big box stores - no question. For the initial sales experience, I give them a 4.5 all the way. Well done.
I freely admit, your mileage may vary and there undoubtedly are people who have had better experiences than we have on service, but here's what we went through.
The real proof with a purchase like this from any retailer is in the service. You go with a more local place over the big box brand for the better, more personal sales experience, but you also expect a little more when it comes to service. If you don't service what you sell, or service what you sell well, that's a problem.
For years I went to 1400 Motors/Allen Mello Dodge not because they had a real braintrust in the sales department, in fact their sales department was often among the worst car sales experiences that I've had. What saved them was the level that the service department would go to in times of crisis - not just to make me happy, but because they were good guys who were intent on doing the right thing for the customer.
This is NOT to suggest that Barron's is not about doing the right thing for the customer.. I do believe these are good, well intentioned people, who want to do a good job for you. The sad thing in our case was that it just didn't happen.
We bought a washing machine in December of last year. It broke down on Saturday, 9/7. Sucks, but it's still under warranty.
Initially, we'd been told that they couldn't get a repair tech out until the 23rd just to diagnose it. After some protest, they got someone out last Tuesday, 9/10. He was great - no question, but this is apparently from their outsourced vendor. So Barron's doesn't have in house techs - I could be wrong, but this was my understanding. And I get it, times change, you need to control costs, you partner up with a vendor - no sweat. I've been in business, no harm there, this is a common practice these days - all good.
So the parts arrive over the weekend. We reach out to find out when we can get scheduled to have the parts installed Monday 9/16. No call. No text. No joy. Finally, today, 9/17 we're told - via text message - they can have someone out by the 23rd. Huh?
Add yet another week of going to the laundromat. The cost of buying a new washer. Yeah, it's covered by warranty and the "extended" service plan we paid for, but seriously? This is the best you can do?
Enough with the "unfortunately there's no sooner openings, we can't get someone out to service your washer until...." Not my problem. That's your problem. My problem is that I need my washer working. I paid you extra for "service".
It could be argued that they are meeting their obligation to service, but damn this feels like water torture. At a minimum, call me back the day I call you. Offer some reassurances. Don't hide behind a damn text message. That would have, at the very least made me think, hey, at least they care. At least they're trying... The laundromat thing sucks, but a person reached out and they're doing their best, I'm happy with the effort.
At the end of the day, I could stroll into Lowes and at the luck of the draw get a great sales person who gives me great advice and sells me the same washer at a good price. Would they have serviced it sooner? Who knows?
The point is, I go to the hometown joint because the long standing perception is that the local place will come to your rescue when you need them. THAT is what's supposed to differentiate them. Service with a smile. Johnny on the f'n spot. At the very least on the day, not the day AFTER you call them, and

The appliance buying process in Nashua was much more personalized than at any big box place. Caylin, the sales rep, really listened to what I was looking for and came up with options that met my needs and budget. Her diligence, follow through, and effective communication were much appreciated!
Scheduling was easy and the delivery and installation people were professional and timely. I will absolutely return to Baron’s in the future and will specifically ask to work with Caylin again!
