Nena at Audio Video Therapy went above and beyond in setting me up with the hifi system of my dreams. I am very happy with the speakers I bought and their price, and the store offers a comfortable (and fun) environment for testing out speakers and other audio equipment. I highly recommend giving them a visit and working with Nena.

Audio Video Therapy is simply the best. They service anyone from the beginner to the most advanced listener.
As someone who enjoys listening to high quality music but doesn't always know how to get there, all I have to do is walk in, let them know your goals, and start asking questions. They will make sure to point you in the correct direction, and they will make sure that you understand the entirety of what you need and how to set everything up.
AV Therapy will work within all budgets and make you feel comfortable even when working on a tight budget. When looking for high-end equipment, they can talk the talk and walk the walk there too. Even if you don't understand the "hi-fi" world, or aren't sure what high-quality sound sounds like, they will show you here. Anyone looking for a high-quality listening experience whether for mobile, home theater, or work should shop here first.

I’ve been shopping with this company for twenty years. Knowledgeable staff who are interested in fitting you with the right equipment to fit your listening needs and budget. Wide selection of new and used equipment, as well as friendly and timely service and maintenance personnel. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. No tax in NH!!

Had a great customer experience there today working with Scott. Walked in with no knowledge of audio technology and a set of requirements, and a budget under five figures. Scott spent several hours demoing various configurations of receivers and speakers, leaving us alone to listen and evaluate, checking in to get feedback so he could queue up the next iteration. It was amazing, to be led through the options, with each change moving us closer in terms of function, sound and aesthetics. Plus the products have upgrade paths, which is cool. We walked out happy with our choices and excited to hear how they sound in our home. I can't imagine shopping for something so subjective and personal as audio equipment any other way.

My 14 year old, and by proxy his younger brother, is taking an interest in home audio so we decided to stop in to check out the store. The store is huge with 3 levels packed with equipment and listening rooms. We were warmly greeted and even after saying we were just checking out the store, we got the grand tour. The person who showed us around, unfortunately I forgot her name, seemed to enjoy answering all my sons questions. We will certainly be back when we are ready to buy. I have been interested in home audio my entire life and they covered all the mid to high end brands that I was aware of. The ability to a-b test so much equipment is really great.

John and his team are incredibly patient, kind, and inviting. I came on a Tuesday, knowing it would be quiet. John was happy to spend hours with me setting up equipment, talking through the various options, and educating me. I didn't buy anything—only because I'm still in my process—but I didn't feel any pressure or disappointment from John and his team for leaving empty handed. This was exactly the type of introductory experience I hoped for and I will absolutely be coming back to make a purchase.

Considering all of the other 5 star reviews, it’s probably not necessary for me to add my 2 cents, but I was left with such a positive impression and pleasant experience that it’s worth reiterating again and again. John and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. Unlike the big box stores you might be used to, AV Therapy looks to build long term relationships with its customers. They realize that when it comes to buying things like pricey amplifiers, streamers, turntables and speakers, it might be a long term process. They’re happy to let people listen and evaluate at their own pace, and make a decision when they’re ready. John and his staff can and will make suggestions, but they’re also cognizant and responsive to understanding what their customers are looking for and framing their recommendations within that context. If you see something you like, they’ll even let you take it home to audition it to see how it will work in your setup, in your listening space.The store is laid out like a three story house where all of the rooms are packed with various gear at varying price points. Listening rooms here look like rooms normal folks might be setting their equipment up in, with only minimal acoustic treatments, and that helps make evaluating things a more honest proposition than hearing speakers in some pristine room few of us can afford.I probably visited this store 4 times over the course of 5 months before finally pulling the trigger. I mostly worked with John, but Nena was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. After listening to numerous brands and models of floorstanding loudspeakers, I settled on a pair of Paradigm Founder 100Fs, and I couldn’t be happier. John even accepted my old towers as trade in and gave me fair value for them. Really, a top notch experience all around. They’ve won another customer for life here, and I will no doubt be spending more money with John and team in the future as I look to upgrade my amplification/preprocessor setup.

I had a terrific experience at AV Therapy for a recent purchase. I am not an audiophile and wasn’t looking to break bank.Nena from AV was terrific, spending close to 45 minutes with me and showing tremendous depth of knowledge on products. And more important to me, asking lot of questions and reviewing photos of the room to make sure she understood all the dynamics of the room and house.I walked out with a great “all in one” system that met all my needs and budget.They have a fantastic selection of top quality audio and TVs whether you are budget conscious or looking to splurge.I will never go to the big box guy next door again.Highly recommend.

Fifty years ago, I bought my first stereo system at Tech Hi Fi for about $600. A Sansui Receiver, 2 Rectilinear speakers, a Dual Turntable. It was more than I could afford but the least of what I had to have. Music was important. Good sound was important. As both have been to me ever since.Which is why I took some time to find a store that knew high-end audio and stocked the kinds of product that I was looking for. I wanted to speak with people who knew what they were selling and could offer options that would meet my needs. AVT checked those boxes.The experience at the store was extremely low-key. I was asked what I wanted and sat listening to speakers in a large leather chair for about two hours. There was even a dog to pat. At the end, I decided to buy a pair of speakers that were demo's and was told to bring them back if I wasn't happy. I asked about buying an amplifier and was told to try the speakers on my existing set-up and come back if I needed something more.I met most of the staff during my time there. My thanks to all of them.

I just got back into listening to my old Vinyl records, but the sound quality isn't what it should be to my fine-tuned listening ears.I meet with Nena, at Audio Video Therapy and after an hour spent with me showing and advising me of my different options, I narrowed it down to two speaker choices. Nena was gracious and kind enough to allow me to bring the speakers home to try them out on my system before I made my final decision.This was the first time I have been to AVT in Nashua, and I was like a kid in a candy store. The way I was treated by Nena, and the selection of high-end audio and video equipment is off the charts.
