I am traveling in a Skoolie and the check engine light came on and I was in Milford, NH. A person recommended Winkle Auto in Milford, that was on Labor Day. I sent Robert a message on facebook and he responded for me to call the next morning and I did reaching Gary. Talked to him and he said bring it in and they would check it out. After I got there I didn’t have to wait very long and it ended up being both end line O2sensors needing to be replaced. Steve did the work and checked all the fluids and aired up the tires. Gary, Robert and Steve are the nicest and most helpful and honest mechanic that I have ever seen. Thank you so much guys! I wish all people were like you.

Rob always takes great care of us. He goes out of his way to explain to you exactly what is happening and provide various options to make sure that the repairs are reliable but done in the most cost effective manner. Highly recommend taking your car here for any repairs or maintenance.

I have been using Winkel for minor repairs for the past four years. They are always blunt and honest about what is needed, which has been so refreshing. My car wouldn't pass inspection because the dealership didn't like a small chip in my windshield (which even they admitted was legal to drive with) so I went to Winkel and they gave me a fair review and let the car pass. Been going to Winkel ever since!

Gary is the man! Busy dude so be patient. But he had a transmission for a 64 dodge van. Fantastic shape and more than reasonable. And he has a wealth of information, a walking Auto encyclopedia in historian. Can't go wrong.
