I usually go to lake view materials in Merrimack for all my landscape needs. I decided to come here since it was closer to a clients job of mine. Picked up a yard of crushed 3/4 stone. I needed a yard to finish a clients job before I go on vacation. I paid and got loaded and I could tell it wasn’t even close. I mentioned it and I was told it was a yard. I went to the job site and low and behold it wasn’t even close. It was closer to half yard than full yard. Disappointed to say the least and I won’t be back here…prices are good but you’re not getting what you pay for.

This company is really difficult to do business with. They never return calls. Half the time they try to transfer calls and they drop calls. It’s really annoying. There are other, more professional businesses to work with including Amherst Earth Products and Powell Stone & Gravel. No money is saved by going to this “good ol boy” company and frankly, I wouldn’t support a company that doesn’t act professional when I’m trying to order product for delivery!

Be aware, if they are as safe at your sight as they drive on the highway, you are apt to get someone hurt on your site. Their tractor trailer driver thinks tailgating at 75-80 and cutting in and out of traffic is they way to go about things. Awful way to promote your business!

Friendly service, timely delivery. I've dealt with the Balcoms for years and it's always been a pleasant experience. They have gone out of their way on occasion to deliver to my site.

Awsome experience. I was looking for plow parts for my snow pro 3000 witch is discontinued. The gentleman I spoke with had an answer for every question I had and also a part to match for every question.
