I had only hired one moving company before (a friend of a friend) and had an okay experience with them. And that was just moving to the next town over. So when I was looking to move the contents of 2 houses, one 3 hours away in Maine, I wanted to make sure I didn't hire just any fly-by-night company. Michael Brooks Moving was a pleasure to work with from the first phone call...and their estimate was much lower than any other company I had spoken to! They were great at communicating so I knew what time to expect them on moving day. The 3 movers that showed up were polite, respectful (of me as a person and my stuff) and efficient! It was a long day with the 6 hour round trip commute but they did it all in one day. As the day was drawing to a close and the truck was empty, they asked one last time if I needed help with anything else. They made an already stressful situation so much better! I would use them again without hesitation and will recommend them to everyone I know!

We have so many stressful things going on in our lives right now, and moving our daughter back home from her apartment was one of them until I spoke with Lindsay at Michael Brooks Moving. She immediately put me at ease and knew exactly what to ask me as well as having answers to all of my questions. When the amazing tag team of Jim and Jake arrived at the apartment, they immediately went to work. They were quick, efficient, careful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. These young men were stellar. There are not enough stars for Michael Brooks Moving. Thank you to Jim, Jake and Lindsay for all of your help and taking a load off of our already full plate. You are all incredible!

Found his website, filled out quote form and received a call right away from Michael. He called the day prior to move and arrived on time on moving day. Excellent at moving(had all equipment) and being considerate of home. He was very accommodating on entire process and team was professional and courteous. Would highly recommend. Very pleased!

We were very disappointed with Michael Brooks movers. They broke and damaged a few items and immediately tried to say the items were already damaged. They also didn't complete set up as asked and paid for and charged my elderly parents the higher rate for paying by credit card when I told them I would go to my own house and return with my checkbook to pay to save my parents money. I live 15 minutes away round trip. During my short absence, the movers pressured my parents to pay with the credit card. Sadly, we even bought all the crew lunch to save them time and money. We feel betrayed and angry. We will never use them and hope others avoid our fate.

This moving company is fantastic. They had us moved from a 2 BR condo and taking apart/putting back together a kid’s bed within 5 hours. I know this is very minimalist review, but we’re in the middle of unpacking. Seriously - impressed and can’t say enough good things about Michael Brooks Moving. Kris, Jim, and Franky made everything very easy for us!

Micheal Brooks Moving company was Fantastic. The entire move was smooth and efficient, lowering the overall time and cost of settling into our new home. They were very attentive to how all our fragile possessions and electronics were packed and you could tell how much they cared about placing our furniture and boxes in the correct locations in the new house.You won't find better movers in this price range, just call them.

I highly recommend Mike Brooks Movers. Three young men showed up on time and were very polite and professional. Not only did they work hard, they worked fast. We had heavy furniture and they never complained. I will tell everyone I know about our great moving experience.

Thanks to Mike and Chris for a great moving experience: needed to move a bed quickly from my home to an assisted living residence for my mom. They were there at the house within 30 minutes of my call, the move went smoothly and the bed is where it needs to be! No walls dinged up, great service and I couldn’t ask for more pleasant people to work with!
