My wife and I booked a 3 days and 2 nights at The Nutmeg Inn. Our experience in the place and with the owners were wonderful. We felt we were back in times with all the antiques and decorations. The owners were super nice and friendly. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious. The house has plenty of games. Outdoor pool and nice yard to relax. It's about 10 mins drive into town. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Kevin and Karen, for being a wonderful host.

This is the eighth consecutive year that my fiancé and I have spent our (dating) anniversary at the Nutmeg Inn, and it will continue to be a tradition even long after we are married and have started our family. Everything about the Nutmeg Inn is welcoming and comfortable. From the extremely pleasant and kind Inn Keepers, Kevin and Karen, to the nostalgic feeling you get from the Inn's aesthetics and amenities, staying at the Nutmeg Inn truly feels like you have traveled back to a simpler and less chaotic time. We have had stays where we were the only guests for a particular evening, and we have had times where the inn was booked to capacity, but the one constant that has remained, is the level of relaxation and decompression my fiancé and I have been able to experience every time. It doesn't hurt that the provided breakfast and refreshments are always amazing, and I challenge anyone to not be a fan of Kevin and Karen's cooking! For those guests that still need some type of technology during their stay, the inn provides complimentary wi-fi and a variety of television channels and streaming services on the downstairs, living room television. For anyone staying during the summer months, the inn also provides a beautiful and clean swimming pool on site. Highest recommendation from us, and we're already looking forward to our next stay in February 2025! A+

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Nutmeg Inn. The Inn itself is welcoming and cozy and all of the rooms are decorated beautifully and are spotless. The best part was all of the games you can play around the Inn and the homemade breakfast each morning. You can feel all the love the owners pour into their business. This bed and breakfast is a true New England gem and I cannot wait to come back for my next stay.

Like a dollhouse! It was enchanting, like walking into a movie set in a cozy, colonial-style house. Kevin and Karen were so hospitable and the homemade to-order breakfast was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. There was a billiards room and other games downstairs. The perfect experience really, and all at a much better value than pretty much any other comparable inn in the area. Planning to bring my mom here!

Absolutely wonderful! The Nutmeg Inn is such a beautiful place to stay. We had so much fun playing pool, shuffle board and scrabble in front of the enormous fireplace.
The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were warm and comfortable and the owners Kevin and Karen are so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

What a JOYOUS stay....from start to finish it was perfect in every way...but the SHEETS made the stay. We had 3 rooms, and when we met for breakfast, all of us spoke about the bed sheets before anything else. Amazing comfort, as were the beds. The coffee was out early, as were amazing muffins and home-made granola...we can't wait to return. The hosts were ideal - great banter, but not too much. Great laughter but not too much. Super smart, well-traveled- and as a person who doesn't like B & B's - it was IDEAL !!!!

We have stayed at this in many times and each visit has been just as wonderful as the last one. Staying at the Nutmeg Inn with hosts, Kevin and Karen, is warm and welcoming every time you walk through the door. It is like home away from home for us. Every single home cooked breakfast has been delicious and you don't want to miss out on Kevin's sourdough bread or Karen's home made gronola. The beds are super comfortable with the superb sheets and the comfortable mattresses. Nutmeg Inn is close to downtown Meredith and you are also very close to Laconia and Holderness NH. Everytime we stay at the Nutmeg I am amazed by the history of the place which dates back to before the revolution and our country becoming an independent country.

We had an amazing experience during our recent stay at The Nutmeg Inn! Kevin and Karen were excellent hosts, and the breakfast was A++. The room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the sitting room and playing scrabble in front of the fireplace. We definitely will be returning again in a couple months.

So many beautiful details! My husband and I stayed the night after visiting FunSpot, and we felt as if we were back in a time when fine woodwork and hand-carved furniture were appreciated. Our cozy bed had a wonderful hand-stitched cotton quilt on top, and there was no shortage of interesting decorations. Kevin and Karen even accommodated us by offering a breakfast that fit my husband's dietary needs. Lovely home and lovely hosts!!

We stayed a few years ago but not sure we reviewed. This is a wonderful place. Beautiful home, great hosts and great food. We have stayed at many B&B's in US, Ireland, Scotland and England. Nutmeg Inn is one of our all time favorites. We have lovely memories of our stay and if we are ever in the NE again would stay again.

This quaint, old style and beautifully maintained heritage property is possibly one of the best B&B places to stay in NH regionKevin & Karen own and run this place as a labour of love and caring. The beautifully decorated and maintained common areas which include a sitting room with a fireplace, a TV room, a pool room, dining spaces and landscaped lawns, are so comforting and relaxing.Kevin and Karen are caring and efficient hosts and make you feel at ease. The breakfast prepared and served by the two of them is sumptuous and tasty and helps one to get a head start for the day.Tea and coffee service is available all through the day and in the evening Kevin lights up a fire in the sitting room. It feels so relaxing to sit by the fireside and have a cup of tea/coffee or a glass of wine (your own bottle) and soak in the warmth of the place.Outside the house there are beautifully manicured lawns and lovely trees and flowering plants. We had nice walks around the property and Kevin had guided us to take a few paths nearby, where we had an awesome experience of the fall foliage and stunning views of the mountains nearby. On one of the evenings, Kevin had put up a bonfire in the adjacent lawns and we spent some great time around the fire and chatting with few folks. The fall colors were becoming much more intense towards the end of our stay which really delighted us as we had made this trip to NH to soak in the beautiful fall colors. We stayed here for 5 nights and could visit a few places nearby in Meredith and Plymouth by booking some local taxis, which I must warn you are not easy to get by in these areas so I would strongly recommend that you bring your own car.We were bowled over by Karen and Kevin's hospitality and the town of Meredith and wished we could stay for some more days.Strongly recommended!

Excellent experience. The charm of a historic inn, the convenience of a contemporary hotel (Wi-Fi and usb plugs) charming hosts, great breakfast and spotlessly clean and comfortable. all close to the lakes and mountains.
