A tall drink of water in the middle of a desert… we were visiting from out of town and wanted to get a couple of nice bottles of red (French, specifically). The shop owner clearly knows her wine and gave us some great recommendations.We went to a few places around here and all those places had young, bargain basement bottles you’ve never heard of and for good reason. Save yourself the time and go to Karlins.

I had the pleasure of visiting Karlins Wine store yesterday. What a lovely business and the owner, Karen, was so knowledgeable and kind. I would absolutely go back again if I am in the area.

So many great wines and friendly help for wine novices. I was nervous going here because it came with such high recommendations, I was expecting everything to be pretentiously priced. Instead, we were greeted with a fun experience learning a bit about flavors and regions from the most down to earth owner, and all the prices were sensible. We live a good distance away, but I think this just became my “local” wine shop.If you enjoy wine, you’ll love Karlins.

I’m in the lakes region and need the best wines - fine wines. Even better? I need great cheese and meats to pair with those wines. Where to go? Karlin’s is easy to get to from town docks, easy for parking - with their own lot and the lot across the street at the church.Who has the best wine and wines in the lakes region? Karlin’s. If you’re at a nice hotel, like Church Landing, and want a short walk for a tasting or great bottle - this is the place to go.

Finally! A wine store with a great selection! We wandered into Karlins over the weekend and discovered a cool little store with tons of diverse wines, delectable cheeses and more. So glad this store has arrived in Meredith!

We stumbled into their soft opening a few weeks ago and were so pleasantly surprised to find such a great spot to find delicious wine and cheese. They very clearly have a passion for picking out the best wines at a variety of price points, and offered great advice when picking out a few bottles. Excited to go back and explore what else they have!
