Delicious wine and great hospitality. We got a free tour from Bob, co-owner and had a great chat during our tasting with Matt, our bartender. Anyone who is in the area would be missing out if they skipped Hermit Woods! We’ll be back!

INCREDIBLE FRUIT WINE. Best we have ever had, hands down. I enjoyed everything they had served us during the tasting. The service was incredible. We even go a tour from Ben. Matt was an amazing server. Would highly recommend the overall experience.
Hermit Woods Winery and Eatery, one of Food & Wine Magazine's "500 Best Wineries in America," is a small boutique winery and farm-to-table eatery located in downtown Meredith. We make a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional wine and serve food sourced locally from New England.
Join us for a wine tasting or to dine with us and we will do our best to make your time with us both enjoyable, entertaining, and educational. We offer live jazz, R&B, soul, on Thursdays and piano nights Fri. and Sat.
In addition, we offer tours of our wine making operation. We will show you in person how our wine is made. Tours available by appointment for groups of six or more.
We have 65 seats inside and 45 seats outside on our deck and patio.
