Our cat was suffering immensely with several issues: degenerative intestinal condition, severe joint pain.....Siam could barely limp. We had tried everything to save him. Then we heard about Dr. David St. Lifer. We drove two hours from Vermont to see him. Siam was so relaxed in the clinic. He loved the environment. The next day we had a "new cat". The turnaround was miraculous. David restored Siam's system to balance and now, at the age of 13 and almost two years later, Siam continues to run, leap, eat and play as an enthusiastic participant in life. We cannot say enough about David's great love and work! Thank you David!!!

Dr. David St. Lifer is an excellent holistic veterinarian. He has cared for my dogs and cat for years. He provides a wide range of holistic services including chiropractic adjustments, as well as wonderful inexpensive allopathic veterinary care. David is also great with the animals, the environment is relaxed and the animals feel it. He is highly responsive to his clients and their owners. I look forward to taking my animals to the vet!

My dog Cooper loves to go see Dr. St. Lifer. He has ALWAYS been so helpful and I could never see going anywhere else. Once cooper had a back issue and doc quickly got him healthy. Our family loves his approach to healing. Highly, highly recommend you bring your pet to Upstream!!!

Dr. Lifer is a compassionate person and knowledgeable homeopath. My dog Blaze, was very ill with what turned out to be a life threatening infection. Dr. Lifer decided we needed an alliopathic solution a long with focused nutritional format confirmed by blood testing. My dog recovered and lived on 3 more years until 13 yrs of age.

Dr. St. Lifer struck me as a compassionate and pleasant man. He is, however, a homeopath. And while he makes no secret of this fact I think it is important to be aware that his "homeopathic" method of practice has been scientifically proven to be absolute QUACKERY in the grandest sense of the word in both humans and animals for decades. Bottom line is if my animal had a serious health condition I would not be comfortable taking them to this practice as I would be concerned that real medicine would be overlooked in favor of mysterious and unscientific "homeopathic injections". The receptionist (his wife I believe) was extremely condescending, and personally, I found it downright rude. Maybe that's just me though. I have given them three stars because Dr. St. Lifer is a great guy and if you're looking for a homeopathic vet I can't recommend him highly enough. If you're looking for someone who can effectively treat your animal using scientific evidence-based medicine, I would look elsewhere.
