I recently upgraded machines and purchased a Minelab Equinox 800 from George at Streeter's. I had heard about his shop for decades and finally made the trip to NH. He is an interesting character with an enormous amount of experience. He has an initial "tough guy" personality, but soon softens into a sweet, funny old guy. He will quiz you on what type of detecting or prospecting you plan on doing to make sure he steers you towards the detector and budget that's right for you. His prices were excellent. If you have the time - he has cases filled with interesting relics he has found all over the world with great stories for each. I highly recommend checking his store out.

Have Worked with George for over 20 years both as acustomer and as a salesman, two things i can say forsure is that he is honest and knowledgeable , just remember to keep one thing in mind he likes to talk

The owner is an experienced detectorist who complements the store, the attention is personalized and the guidance, for which he does not charge, is invaluable, not just anyone gives you so much useful information. You find all kinds of equipment for different budgets. Highly recommended.

Small business run by an 80 year old retired veteran. I drove from where I was staying in Rutland, VT to get some prospecting panning equipment. Good stories and great advice if you got the time to sit and listen. He really enjoys his passion for metal detecting and prospecting.Great spot and worth the drive and the cost of whatever you are interested in. The advice alone is worth it for whatever your intrest in purchase.Thanks!

Went to streeters to upgrade my detector and had a fantastic experience. The owner George was a pleasure to do business with. He answered all my questions and never felt rushed mainly since I arrived 30mins of closing time and stayed well beyond that. Not only did I leave with a great purchase but left with a plethora of knowledge that George was kind and patient enough to bestow onto me. Also was able to sign up via email for future digging events. Thanks again George!

My wife Debby and I stopped in to look around and I ended up buying a Minelab Vanquish 540.George informed me the detector I bought from Amazon was actually for kids...lol.I appreciated the knowledgeable talk and the complete honesty. I'll come back soon for more goodies.
