Pawfectly Raw New England
348 Lincoln St, ManchesterPawfectly Raw has been a game changer for our Dogs. We have been ordering from them for years now. Everything changed once we started them on Raw. Their coats were better, breath, weight, energy, and doing their business. No more diarrhea, much smaller poops. TMI ? This means they are absorbing more nutrients. They flip over the Quacks, (dehydrated duck feet) and their bone broth is amazing. If your local you can pick up, which is great for us. They also offer delivery to many locations in New England. Try them out. Your Pups will be so excited! #nomorekibbleThanks Tracy and Chuck!

PetSmart
777 S Willow St, ManchesterBrought my dog in for a quick nail clip. They took us right away. No appt needed, and a discounted price. How could I go wrong. The price is usually 12.99 but on a Saturday afternoon they run specials so the price was 7.99, again how could I go wrong. They were terrific with my dog. I am sorry I forgot our groomers name for that day but she was excellent, and when Diego started to squirm, she asked another groomer to just hold him at our suggestion. It worked perfectly. Really really great service, fast efficient, and very kind to Diego and myself. After grooming I had to pick up a few things , found a great shedding tool at a reasonable price along with a big tough dinosaur toy, cause my little guy like to tear toys apart. I really like they have the categorys with toys for cuddling dogs, fetching dogs, teething dogs, and my guy who likes to tear them apart . Lol also I should mention while I was in with the groomer, I also received a $2 coupon for the toy I was getting. So much savings which made me feel great about going there, and the savings allowed me to donate to help other dogs. I found this to me a great place for pet supplies for all kinds of animals, definitely worth the stop. I highly recommend this PetSmart!!

Lockridge Animal Hospital
1153 Hanover St, ManchesterThis animal hospital is wonderful. Very clean and professional with cute decor, and the staff are so kind and compassionate. My kitty had mouth surgery here and I was very anxious, and they let me ask any questions beforehand, and reassured me of their safety measures. Dr. McCammon is very thorough, matter-of-fact, and seems to always take the time to speak to pet owners. One of my cats died very suddenly, and he came out of surgery to give us his condolences when we brought him in to be cremated. They also offer financing through scratchpay, which was so helpful. They also gave my kitty a certificate of bravery after his surgery. Very cute!

Lockridge Animal Hospital: Carey Dianne DVM
1153 Hanover St, ManchesterI read some of the reviews and I wonder - are they going to a different business? I've been so pleased with the service I get from Lockridge. Responsive, caring, intelligent, competent AND the pricing was less than some of the other local animal hospitals (and FAR more pleasant to deal with than one unnamed one that has 4.9 and I have no idea how). After just one visit, they remembered my dog's name as they passed through the waiting room. Dr. Sophie Borodic is terrific and my dog keeps giving her kisses. The longer I go there, the happier I am with them. It's a beautiful bright and clean office too.

Veterinary Emergency Center of Manchester
2743 Brown Ave, ManchesterMy cat had a very sudden unexpected medical emergency in the middle of the night and I am grateful we were able to be seen at the Veterinary Emergency Center of Manchester. We brought him in immediately and he was assessed right away. Dr Casna's honesty, knowledge, and professionalism helped me make the difficult decision to end his suffering quickly. There was a peaceful comfort room available for us to say our goodbyes and we could take as much time as we needed.
Saying goodbye to Casper was not easy for me. Every single staff member we encountered here was kind, compassionate and professional. I can never thank them enough for making one of the hardest times of my life a little easier. Thank you all so much for what you do.

Pet Sitting & Training

Granite State Pet Sitting
40 Grand Ave, ManchesterHolly has been our saving grace and most trusted person we have welcomed into our life (and our dogs' lives.) We have had her in our family since 2013. We can rely and trust her to care for our boys at a moment's notice (if something happens) or 6-8 months in advance if we're planning a trip away or a summer concert and it's December. She was with us during the loss of our beloved Ronin this past June 2019 when he passed of lymphoma. She came by on his last day to say goodbye and then made him a beautiful shadow box with all of the photos she had taken of him over the years. We all cried together and she truly does think of your dogs like one of her own. When we are away of course we miss the dogs but we never once worry or wonder how they are when Holly is caring for them. She knows their routines, their personalities, lets us know if they are off, or if they are okay, or sad, or miss us. The boys absolutely lose their mind (in a good way) when she comes to see them which makes us feel so good. I have absolutely no idea as to these "rude" comments from the other poster. Holly is not just a "dog walker." She knows animals, behavior, traits. We give her a key to our home. We trust her in our house and with our kids (lets be honest, our dogs are our kids.) She is so much more than a "pet sitter." She is considered to be a member of our family. Her companionship and love for our dogs is incredible. She is reliable, personable, sends us photos while we are away, lets us know how the boys are, leaves us notes, I could go on. Holly, we thank you. We love you - and the boys love you too!

Advanced K9 Training of NH
795 Mammoth Rd #3, ManchesterWe had the best experience boarding with Oakhaus! ❤️ Our dog Moose was so welcomed while we were on a trip abroad. We got updates every day with pictures and videos, and he was taken care of so well! We felt so great about him being loved and cared for with Shelby. We even did a meet and greet and a day of boarding before the big trip, so he was very familiar with his surroundings. It’s so clear that Shelby is amazing with animals and treats them as her own. We look forward to having him stay with her again!

William & Sons Coffee Co.
489 Amory St, ManchesterWhat a great ? find! Friendly and helpful service! Good ? coffee ☕! Delicious ?heated cinnamon rolls! Plenty of ? seating for a small cafe. There is even a bar to sit at.
I met both of the owners and one told me of the history of the cafe, where they source their coffee and we even chatted about recent news.
I met one of the owners nephew, who was a very pleasant fellow, and we chatted about jazz. He told me that a new ? W&S will open on Washington Street in Concord.
The bathroom was in great shape. It could use a grab bar but it has plenty of space to move around if you have a walker.
They may want to offer a plastic knife along with the fork ? they give you for the cinnamon rolls. Your fingers ? will get sticky and it will be difficult to use your phone ? or laptop. WiFi and window ? and bar seating available.
The Pour over coffee is terrific! What a pleasure and the process is interesting ? to observe!
I recommend this cafe! They have been open since May 12th, 2024 and I wish them success!

Dancing Lion Chocolate
917 Elm St, Manchesterthis is truly an exceptional chocolate shop. it is small inside but very cute and cozy. i went around 10 am and we were the only people in the shop. after pondering for a bit, we decided to get the chocolate tasting for 2, which came with several truffles and chocolates, two of each. the owner talked to us about the history of each truffle filling and showed use pictures of his travels. it's important to note that every truffle flavor is only made once! this was a few months ago so i'm having trouble remembering the other flavors, but my favorite chocolate was definitely the blueberry sage truffle. we also ordered the drinking chocolate, which was so rich and warming. if you are visiting manchester and want a one-of-a-kind experience, this is the place for you! definitely ask for water though, you're going to need it.

Stark Brewing Company
500 N Commercial St, ManchesterLOVE THIS PLACE!! First timer tonight, brought out dog Otty out for a date night. We were greeted right when we walked in with such friendly staff. Our waitress, Mikayla, was incredible. They had an event going on one side, and live music on the other, and though I thought it would be packed inside, it was very comfortable and roomy as we were placed right in the middle. Such a Great atmosphere for a dog and us. Wait staff accommodated to our bougie Shar Pei and brought out grilled chicken, bacon, and fresh iced water with quick service and food. 12/10 experience all around. Our dog is protective and barked a bit, so the owner came over and kindly asked us to quiet him, which we did. (He was just hungry and getting impatient/has an attitude). Really appreciative of everything about Stark Brewery and their doggie friendly atmosphere and can’t wait to come back ??
Parking: Forget parking. The best thing is You can bring your dog, just make sure they are well trained and act appropriately (reasonable)

Pizza by Rocco Manchester
210 Lowell St, ManchesterIf you’re looking pizza that would get rave reviews from Barstool Sports, Pizza by Rocco is the place you want to go. I am from NYC and have had my fair share of NYC and New Haven style pizza. I can easily say Pizza by Rocco is the highest of quality pizza in the Manchester, NH area that comes the closest to matching those styles of pizza. I have been to Pizza by Rocco 10+ times over the years and the consistency of the pizza is the same every time - perfectly cooked with crust so crispy you can hear every bite across the room. Pizza ASMR at its finest. I highly recommend all pizza enthusiasts try this place. The customer service is excellent as well. Pictured here are the Buffalo Chicken Rancher and Super Madness pizzas.

Restoration Cafe
235 Hanover St, ManchesterWe have eaten at the Restoration Cafe a few times now. It is a quirky little place and it may be me but it seems to me like just another eatery that tries too hard to be different. The coffees and teas are highly specialized. They have a few traditional dishes (tuna salad, bacon and eggs) but to me there are too many dishes that they try to elevate. Some work (TAB sandwich) and some don't (grilled pumpkin bread). I had the Curry Chicken Salad which was good but the menu listed lettuce and tomato on it but the sandwich came bare. Also the popcorn that is a side to alot of the sandwiches just doesn't work. Some of my popcorn was burnt and it was either cooked in flavored oil or sprinkled with a dusting of something I could not identify ... either way the flavor was ok. Just a simple white cheddar would have been appreciated.
One final point, this is not the friendliest interior design for people with mobility issues. The only two tables that are not high tops are located in front of the restaurant on an elevated platform that has a very high step to get onto. What makes matters worse is the color of the floor. It is Grey and black and the step blends in with the floor. If you are not paying attention someone could take a nasty fall.
Overall I would say stick with the standards and enjoy.
