CarMax, corporate has been pushing diversity and inclusion, but they really don't include everybody. They don't spend the time, because they are too corporate to get to know their employees. I said one word and got fired. Didn't bother to find out what had been going on in the actual store that got me to that point. I spent three years in that store, forgive me for being vulgar, listening to rumors and finding out the that they were true, of a Customer specialist, having oral sex with another one in the car wash. The same customer specialist that performed that act had an affair with LGM. I said one word quietly no customers heard it, I was just pushed to that point with the store because I just wanted to do my job without having to relive that nightmare. I just happen to be an older white woman, not part of the Diversity and Inclusion. Who has been abused, raped, molested and had to live through that life. And fought her way to get to that place I no longer have a job. Yeah thank you corporate CarMax you didn't take everybody into consideration.. two out of three involved want to know a store manager, second one is working towards that way as a senior up in Buffalo. The other one left the company. One word cost me my job after 6 1/2 almost 7 years with this company. Gotta love corporate. The individual person does not matter no matter how hard they work for them

My experience was horrendous. I had multiple issues with getting someone in the local office to talk to me. Nobody would ever call me back. I was screwed out of 500 dollars to transfer a car form another location. I wasn't told ahead of time or anything about the transfer money. I was put on the spot to pay after I already ran through the application. Didn't realize it wasn't refundable until after I had already gone through the entire process. This was for a car that I didn't even buy. Then I paid another 99 for the one I did purchase. So 600 dollars to buy a vehicle. The only reason why I did it, was because I didn't have time to go into the dealership. I would never buy from them again or recommend them. The car is perfect but not worth the hassle. They rip you off.

My whole experience was smooth, easy and professional starting with making my appointment online. I was given a tentative quote online when I made my appointment to sell my used car. Upon arrival at Carmax I was quickly greeted and checked in. Within 30 minutes I was walking out the door with a check in hand. Carmax made selling my used car simple and stress free!

I think it was the easiest truck purchase I have ever made. Not to mention after buying it there was a slight problem with the transmission and CarMax stood behind it 100%. I am very happy with them would gladly do business or recommend anybody else to do business with them.

Don’t stay away, run away as fast as you can! They sold me a Jeep Wrangler that floods every time it rains. They made at least 10K profit as I purchased it during the used car inflation scam ( my previous Jeep was totaled ). I brought it to them for a service appointment to fix the leak on a day off as they were bringing in a specialist to address the problem. The specialist did not come prepared. He was unable to fix the problem on site but I still got charged a $100 fee to diagnose a problem that I already knew the cause of.Then they wanted me to reschedule and lose another day and pay around $500 for the repair. Very shady, disrespectful dealership. I chose to buy from Carmax because I was under the impression they were a reputable dealership, so I would not have to deal with the usual used car shady business. They are just as bad as the shady used car dealer we’ve all dealt with in the past. Having made so much profit off of me in the first place I would’ve thought that they would gladly spend the $500 to make the customer happy and fix their failure. No shot at this place. They did me dirty and refused to clean up the mess. Now I have an overpriced, leaky Jeep that sucks to drive. Shame on the folks at Carmax! Definitely no honor among those thieves. Take your business elsewhere.

All positive right from quote to check in hand.Highest quote from 5 offers, questioned if it was just to get me in the door. I walked out with check for quoted amount with a smile on my face. My sales person was very friendly and kept me informed step by step. Would recommend Carmax as your first stop when buying or selling a vehicle.

Best experience ever. I had my car transported closer to me to test drive. They made my in store experience very easy by taking must of my information over the phone before I arrived to save time. The caller did not ask for a social security number or to verify any accounts. Everyone in the store was very nice and friendly.

Making an appointment was useless, I waited for 40 minutes after my appointment time before someone came over to help me. After that everything was AMAZING. It went very quick, they are totally transparent, and I got more money for my car than I thought I would! I left happy.

A very nice woman helped me at the front desk. I was early for my appointment and everyone was with customers. She apologized for the wait! That was my fault! Wolfgang was my sales associate and he was a perfect gentleman. Everything went so smoothly.

Never come as a Walk-in.The representatives are kind and helpful and fast as long as you have appointment.I went there with appointment. Car is already inspected and I already had the offer but unfortunately I left a document at home so I needed to get it back. When I got back they considered me as a walk-in and told me that it can take few minutes to 2 hour to wait.I watched a lot of representatives walk around, use their phones, chat with each other, etc...They didn't really care for walk-ins. They waited 2minutes before 2hour since I walked in before they entertained me.I waited 2hr for a 5minute transaction.I guess I can't complain. They said 2hr max. lol....

Overall, the experience was very good. The sales person who assisted us had only been on the job for one month. We were there for almost 2 hours. He was very pleasant and professional, though, and apologized several times for the delay.

I got an offer online and made an appointment. Was welcomed immediately upon arrival in their very bright and clean showroom. Showed me how to check in and my representative came over right away to welcome me and take my keys for the inspection. 15 minutes (max) and they came back with exactly what I was quoted online. Took about another 15 minutes to do the paperwork and walked out with a check. My payoff was made within 5 days and the check cleared in 2. Very happy with my experience!

Very easy car-selling experience. Love the fact that I knew the price before I went there, and they did a straightforward inspection and validation process. I was in and out in less than an hour.
