Declined to make chicken cutlets out of breasts for me. I thought it was a butcher's shop. Called MacKinnons ....no problem, they were happy to do it. Not spending my money at Mr. Steer ever again.

I paid over $200 for filet mignon steaks for a Christmas dinner. Mr. Steer has always been my go-to place for meat. In this case the steaks were tough, really no better than anything you can get at the grocery store. I emailed their customer service address about the problem. I did not request a refund, or in fairness a reply. I was surprised no one got back to me. It says something about about their motivation to keep good customers. Well, they just lost one. I will never trust a special meal with their meat again.

I tried asking basic questions about where the meat comes from and processing plants used? The owner, extremely rude barked at me that he only gets ia something meat. Couldnt be bothered to explain what any of it means, as he walked away from me mumbling something.Told me that the news is propaganda. Maybe you should learn about your own industry. So your food is the same as anywhere else? Then why am I even here? Never ever again!!! Thanks for showing you don't care about your customers or what you sell them
