Nice shop with a great selection, but was disappointed to discover a $7 beer I bought was dated 11/2022 and definitely past its peak shelf life. Technically not unsafe to drink but just a bad look if you are selling something so far past its canning date.

Great store owned by some really great people! Large selection of great beer and they are passionate about the industry. I’ve been shopping here since they opened and refuse to buy my beer anywhere else!

Excellent store with the capacity to do mix and match of everything in the store, as well as full 4/6 packs.. not unusual for me to spend approximately $100 every time I go

Overpriced and service needs improvement. Employee had headphones in and was watching a video the whole time, not one interaction or even a thank you. Probably why no one else was shopping there. I’m new to the area but next time I’ll go somewhere else.

Had a few experiences of buying past shelf life beer. Cracked a can of mamas lil Yella pils and it foamed over the can. Maybe my fault I thought. Cracked another, even worse. Checked the stamp on the box and it was canned in July of 2020. So it was old, warm stored at one point and reactivated fermentation. Should have checked the date, was told by them they didn't sell expired beer before.

Lazy dog is a great find. It's small enough where you can get awesome service, but large enough to have a great beer selection. And don't forget to check out the walk in cooler.

Best beer store around. Large selection and variety of local, US, and even some international beers/ciders. All of the beers in the store are available in singles somewhere. They even carry some local wines. Don't forget to check out their Dog House Cooler (aka beer cave)!

A WIDE variety of beer and cider brews. Very large walk in cooler to find 4 packs of your favorite beers. An extensive selection of warm beers on the shelves. The highlight of lazy dog (aside from it's namesake) is the ability to choose single beers from the MASSIVE selection in their refrigerated cases. Nothing is worse than being forced to buy a 4+pack of a beer you have never tasted only to watch 3 sit in your fridge until you can pawn them off on your least favorite uncle. I have found so many of my new favorites from being able to mix and match single beers on each trip. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the myriad brews they have in their shoppe!

Great selection of local and other USA beers. Local New England beers are some of the best in the country. They have a huge selection, and most of it nice and cold in the cooler. Lots of other breweries from the US represented. Not much of an IPA drinker myself - they have tons of those - but there's no shortage of European style lagers, as well as porters and stouts in stock. Will be back to try more. Prices are not cheap but that's the case with beer these days as they cost more to produce. The prices are maybe a buck more than Total Wine, but the selection is greater and worth it. They were quite friendly and helpful as well. Not sure what the old reviews were about, but its a welcoming place to go buy beer.
