Brought my Marin to DG for repair work. Ian is super helpful and was very patient in explaining the issue. I'll 100% go back for my bike needs.

Had a tuneup, new brake lever hoods, and bar tape. Did a great job on all counts. Shifting is quick and precise, and no more creak from the bottom bracket. Friendly service and good pricing.

One of the few places around that still keeps the old neighborhood store feel, both in terms of friendliness of their staff and the length to which they go to take care of your bike. Went in to change my cassette to a more climb friendly one. Not only did Charlie find me a very affordable part, he did the labor and basic tuning for free. Another thing is that you can just call them with any biking related questions and they'll give you good advice even if you don't plan to give them your business. Love this place.

I always leave this store frustrated, disappointed, confused or all 3. They don't seem to care much about helping you. Selection of parts, gear and bikes is small. Don't waste your time, go to buchika's or cycles etc.

I wish I had read the reviews before I brought my bike there. All it needed was a back wheel and they said it would be a week. Three weeks later they tell me they are still waiting on the part. Are they custom making it!?! There's no way it takes that long. I told them I was picking it up. I'm not waiting anymore. The worst part is now I still have a broken bike. i will never go back there for a single thing.

Everyone here is clueless and tries to milk you for money. Putting plastic parts on a $600 bike and also putting $60 E-BIKE brake pads on MOUNTAIN BIKE because they "didn't have the mountain bike pads" at a BIKE SHOP. And when I went to get my bike back and the part I was told was plastic was "actually metal" and I can't even ride my bike because it skips whenever I pedal and Charlie wouldn't even fix a problem HE CAUSED without an additional charge (i had this problem 3 other times going to this place). Talk about knowing how owning a business works.

DG Cycles went above and beyond. I had a problem with my electric bike and they ordered parts and installed them for me. No other bike shop could fix my bike! They also helped me install a bike rack I purchased. Highly recommend for excellent service.

I wanted to buy my first adult bike (at 37 years old) and called DG Cycles to discuss the situation. Ian answered and was helpful, patient, understanding and expressed no judgment whatsoever. He offered for me to come in to the store to try some different bikes out and I did the next day. I ended up buying the 2021 Giant Escape 3 (plus a LEM Boulevard helmet) and I rode it the 4 miles home. I love the bike, felt comfortable and safe, and knew I had a “friend” in the know if I needed more help. I highly recommend DG Cycles in Londonderry.

Just bought third bike from DG. Relaxed, but knowledgeable staff.

I ride a carbon Trek Slash with expensive parts that require more than your average bike knowledge to service. I do a lot of my own maintenance because I want it done right. After finding DG cycles I find myself doing less maintenance and more riding as I trust them with my bike and the price I pay has felt reasonable for 3-4 trips to the store on the same bike. The service on my Fox 36 was perfect, even set back to the air pressure I had going into the shop. I sent my mom there when I was ready to buy a new wheel and they fixed her issue for around $40 aka way cheaper than my solution. Biking has become a more expensive sport but building a relationship with a local shop like this is better than any big box store even for people investing on the lower end of the sport.

I needed a new bike computer for my road bike and went in to DG cycles in Londonderry in June 2020. The computer plus installation was 120.00. When I first used it, it was not working and a control button was stuck so I brought it back for a fix or replacement. The owner fiddled with it and said it works now. It sort of worked intermittently for about 9 more rides and then stopped recording MPH and Distance all together. By now we are into August 2021 and I figured that if I just replace the batteries it will work. Well that did not fix the problem and the one button was stuck again. So, I took it off of the bike to take a closer look and found that the metallic trim that was holding the buttons in was broken but appeared to be superglued where the button was stuck. The button next to that was completely gone. In addition, they never put the magnet that came with the computer on my wheel, they left on the old magnet from my previous bike computer. When I went to the original box, there was no magnet. I suspect that they sold me a returned and broken computer with missing parts. Please also note that I never fell or manhandled the bike so there was no reason for this computer to have been damaged this way unless it came that way.

Always helpful. Last time I was there a mom was ahead of me with her young sons. She had a very inexpensive dept. store bike with a flat tire. They said we'll try to refill it, if it doesn't hold air we'll set you up with a new tube. They treated her right when they could have otherwise taken advantage of her.
