For around 3 years we have been using Details Interior Fashions for various products and have always been so happy with the service and results. In late Summer 2023 we learned of some federal energy credits which allow 30% back of the purchase price as a tax credit for certain qualifying Hunter Douglas blinds. We first did our upstairs master bedroom/bathroom with a combination of room darkening (Hunter Douglas Applause collection) and double honeycomb light filtering ( Hunter Douglas Architella Duette collection). It was impressive how much heat transfer it blocked during the summer, keeping our home with no AC much cooler in the hottest room of the house. I think the winter results have been even better. On cold days it insulates so much heat that the inside glass from the sliding glass door gets a coat of ice. Our old draft in the room from our previous honeycomb blinds is gone. The windows get frost too.....the blinds really do keep the inside of our house and help keep it cool in summer. Karen provides top notch service, personally measuring the windows and then they are professionally installed correctly. I think this store is really the only one in the Littleton surrounding area to provide such a great combination of product selection, attention to detail and professionalism....we had previous honeycomb blinds that were ok but the Hunter Douglas collection is far better as far as look, energy savings, and the sliding mechanism is so smooth... and now you can get certain energy efficient ones for 30% off (at tax return time).

Details Interior Fashions reupholstered the cushions on an outdoor sofa. The quality is impeccable and the finished product is beautiful. Karen is very responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend the upholstery services.

Over a year ago, we went into Details to purchase blinds for one room of the house. We were so impressed with Karen's professionalism, her dedication to getting the job done to the satisfaction of the customer, and the friendliness and efficiency of the Details staff that we redid the blinds throughout the whole house. In fact, over the year we have given Details a number of re-upholstery projects (including three sofas) and customized projects (including numerous pillows, a bed spread for a contemporary Danish bed, and an outdoor fireplace cover, both the bed spread and fireplace cover Karen designed herself and the results were perfect). We found Karen's practical and aesthetic judgments to be right on the mark. Of course, throughout such a period and over so many projects, there were complications: manufacturer's issues, scheduling delays, etc. Karen always handled these with concern for the customer and would ultimately work toward a satisfactory resolution. We have always been amazed by the results achieved by Details. We consider ourselves to be very lucky to find a business such as Details to give our home such a fresh and fine look.
