Price Chopper is the only grocery store in Lincoln. They know this. The closest alternatives are Hannafords, Market Basket and Wal-Mart all the way down in Plymouth. What Price Chopper charges for groceries because of there convenient location to camping, airbnbs and other seasonal lodging is rediculous, deliberate and should be illegal. They're going to respond that their prices are in line with other grocery stores but that is simply not true and can easily be disputed by walking into any grocery store in Plymouth, 15 miles away.

I don’t understand how this store can possibly have over 2 stars. Even on busy weekends they never have even close to adequate staffing. Employees admitted there was 3 of them In the store, checkout lines down the isles, one register open and a few self checkouts that always need assistance. Absolute chaos all the time.

It’s a nice small peaceful grocery store We went to go get eggs, chicken, Hawaiian rolls, cake batter Nutella and we got those things without a problem.

The older lady who has to input birthdates for alcohol is the rudest person I have ever met. She worked on Tuesday evening around 6pm July 9th. Please avoid the store around that time if you can. She also stands so close she touches customers.
I attempted to purchase beer. I Showed the lady my ID. My wife didn’t have her ID. We are around 40 years of age. The lady said she couldn’t sell it. Fine. Dumb company rules. Get it. We went home. My wife got her ID and she drove back. the lady wouldn’t sell my wife beer because she didn’t look at mine when I was there and was demanding my ID. It was the most ridiculous interaction I have had.

Packed to the rafters with tourists and not the best prices, but not the worst and good in a pinch. Decent beer selection with regular prices. The deli is pretty good too. As a local, I do my weekly grocery shopping elsewhere.

Place to stop and buy lunch on the way to Boston. Beautiful little tourist village at the bottom of the ski slopes.
