Always loved to take my dogs to this place. The assistance is very friendly and the vets. are always very friendly with our pets. (we loved even the temp. and substitute vets. too! Our long time favorites are Tammy at the front desk and Judy (vet.) who treated our dog to full recovery.

Night and day difference between our last vet and the vet and staff here. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Our tech Andy was fantastic and throughly explained things (like how to say my cat’s name to everyone who was working which made me giggle). They worked with me to make a plan for what I could afford and when. The vet herself, Dr. Tuckerman, was enthusiastic, compassionate, and gentle with my cat who is a nervous squirmball. Overall great experience and will recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We were vacationing in the area and our dog had a hot spot that needed treatment, and were able to get an appointment on the same day we called. Dr. Tuckerman and her staff were great with our Golden Retriever, and addressed his needs efficiently. They were all very caring & answered all our questions!

We are so glad that we found ORVH to take care of our kitties! We first met them in February of this year when our 10 year old cat, Jamie, suddenly took seriously ill. Dr. Klemmer and the entire staff worked tirelessly to try and figure out what was going on but unfortunately it was soon determined that he had a mass in his abdomen. The next day we had to make the hard decision to say goodbye. The following month we took our other 11 year old cat, Alex, in for his annual exam with Dr. Klemmer. We explained that we were concerned because he had been vomiting and losing weight lately and she immediately recommended running a senior blood panel on him because the one he'd had in 2022 showed that his thyroid had been borderline overactive - which our previous vet had never told us about. Sure enough, he now has full blown hyperthyroidism. We immediately started on a medication for his thyroid and a prescription kibble for sensitive stomachs and he is back to his usual energetic self and is now at a healthy weight with a glossy coat. Last month we discovered a small lump on his right front leg which we had the surgeons at ORVH remove last week. He is doing very well, and although it did turn out to be a soft tissue sarcoma and may come back down the road we are very confident that with the wonderful doctors and staff like Carl at ORVH he will live to be a sweet old kitty. The best part is that we are now looking forward to bringing a new (adopted) kitty to them in the next few months. Thank you ORVH for everything!!!

Over many years and many visits, I've found ORVH to be very competent, compassionate and easy to work with.

Well They declined my cats prescription for his special food that he NEEDS to force me to schedule an appointment. In turn, had to give him regular food which didn't agree with him because he's been on this prescription food for so long.It's absolutely ridiculous to block a food order.. a call or note that he's due would be appropriate, Not denying his food that prevents kidney stones that cost 5000.00 for surgery if he gets a blockage. I'm beyond upset that they opt to cause my animal to suffer. These are difficult times, people are not made of money. It was a negligent decision.

If only when we end up in the hospital we could have a staff like they have at Oyster River Veterinary we would be so much better treated. They are by far the nicest and most efficient people to go to. Thank you Oyster River.

I can't say enough about how grateful I am for everyone who works here. I've been bringing my dog Waylon here since he was 8 weeks old - it was during COVID so it was hard to not be able to go in with him but they take such amazing care of him and everyone that works there absolutely adores him. They all know him by name and get excited when he comes to the office and so does he! He absolutely loves going to the vet. They are all the nicest people and care so much about your pets health and well being. Special shout out to Colby for always being the best vet tech there is :) 11/10 would recommend.

I had a very pleasant curb side experience. All of the ladies are polite and helpful. Beau had a follow up vet appt regarding an ear infection. He is all cured and was given the go ahead for his Grooming appt.
