It's going to sound that I'm on here bashing every super grocer but I'm not. I'm only trying to be honest with my opinion and thoughts. I just wish they had Massachusetts stores near by. In Massachusetts there's plenty of everything, and plenty to choose from and all at a reasonable price. Hannaford is an empty shell, you have to search as if you were searching for a treasure that you know is not there but you still hope you will find something only to be disappointed, again and again Ai AiOne day you will find what you were looking for and if you are lucky, perhaps it will return next year, this my friends is just for cheese. Imagine items that you really need, it's a struggle and frustrating to leave the store with nothing. Other than that, everyone is super nice!

I loved to shop at Hannaford with one exception: Hannaford is VERY week on organic dairy products, esp. if it comes to lactose free products. Actually, there is not a single organic lactose free product in the store, which means that one has to go somewhere else to find those products. As a result, I buy everything at the other store, usually the local coop in the Upper Valley, which is - together with Target - the only store that sells lactaid organic dairy products. As a result, I would say that ignoring lactose intolerant customers is not very customer friendly, apart from the fact that Hannaford misses a chance.

My office is only 10 minutes away from this store so I used to come here every week for groceries shopping, sometimes even twice a week. It would be my favorite store until the staffs showed the racism towards Asian people and that stopped me from spending any more money with them.First time they mistreated me was a while ago and I don't want to mention it here. The second times was two day ago when I went there to get some groceries, normally I would do self check out to save time but i had quite many stuffs in my cart that day, also my hand got hurt, so I decided to wait on the check out line with the bagging helper. Before me, there was a white man with a handful of items and there was a woman with long blonde and straight hair helping him out with putting stuffs in the bag. When it was my turn, she immediately walked away and started chitchatting with other employees so I would have to do the bag myself. I was struggling to put my groceries inside my bags without any help, even from the cashier at the checkout who already done scanning. I looked around and saw that blonde woman was looking at me and she laughed. To make it worst, the cashier even pushed me to pay quickly so she could serve the next customer. I felt so ashamed when I walked out of the store. After I left, i saw that blonde hair woman came back and helped out the white couple after me, with only a handful of item again. Ive always being nice and friendly to everyone no matter where they came from, because that is how I respect them and want to be treated the same. Maybe Im just a little Asian woman and they think I don't deserve to be treated like other white people in there. I will never come back.

I'm adding this review late because of a second recent incident. About a year ago my wife went into the store to shop while I stayed out with the dog. When my wife came out she was in tears and extremely upset. My wife is about 5' tall and Vietnamese. She speaks English well and is friendly to everyone. It took some coaxing but I discovered she went to the 14 items lane and apparently actually had 16 items . The woman who had been extremely friendly to the previous shopper became extremely rude and even hostile for the crime of 2 extremely small items over the max that my wife missed because of how they had stacked in the cart. When my wife left said woman became extra nice to the shopper behind her. We have had many good experiences and many of the workers are friendly and show no signs of bias. We reported this incident to the store and no idea if there was action taken within. The second incident happened today and mirrors that of another Asian shopper who also left a comment. We will pay that review separately. It's experienced like these that will drive us from shopping at a store. If the store were to take a proactive approach to improving their inclusivity training and address biased employees we might consider returning.

Recently had to have a prescription filled within a certain time frame and I also needed to change pharmacy's since my insurance was no longer going to cover this medication. Hannaford's staff was so friendly and realized the urgency of time limit we were in and went about and beyond to help out. I am not planning on switching all of our pharmacy needs to them. They cared! It was great service.

My mother, cousin and I went to go get some food for a cook out, we got to check out and the old lady that was checking us out kept throwing out stuff into the bags then throwing them back onto the registe, her name was Kate, she gave my mom the worst attitude I've ever seen.

Hannaford is an okay supermarket with most of the staples. Sometimes this particular store tends to run out of or run low on certain produce though.

Hannaford is an excellent grocery to buy your food. They typically have a broad range of quality choices. Their produce department is excellent and consistently carry many items not available in other local chains. They also have an excellent bakery, deli and meat department. The meats are fresh and their team is happy to help with a special cut or to place an order for you (e.g. standing rib roast for the holidays). They also have a variety of fresh fish and seafood, both wild caught as well as farm raised. Missilery, tuna, pollock, lobster, you name it. And last but not least, their staff is friendly and helpful. Keep up your great work Hannaford!

One of the better grocery stores in west Lebanon. I'm used to a store called publix from the south. This store is as close to that out of all the stores. Co op is too expensive. Price chopper is ok. Shaw s is third on the list.

The people who work there are dismissive, and act like they really don't want to deal with customers. I overheard one guy tell a woman shopper that she was impatient and "tapping her fingernails" because he wasn't responding to her fast enough. She denied it, and I didn't see/hear her do anything except try to talk to him. Also, nite that if they are having a sale on something you want, get there ASAP or you won't get it (you still might not) and they don't give rainchecks like literally every other store in town. They just say well, it's covid. Except Shaw's and Price chopper both give rainchecks. I try to be nice to working people, but this store has gone downhill big time. Much better customer service at Shaw's or Price Chopper.

Truly disgusted with my experience today as I was headed towards the 14 items or less isle (only one other lane open with a huge line) I head towards her and before she even really looks at my cart she says nope go over there you have too much stuff ( mind you my baby's car set is in my cart !!! I had 12 items ! I tried to explain to her and she just walks away ! I couldn't believe it I'm absolutely in shock she treats people this way cause she hates her job that much ( also I'm a IC shopper so I'm in this store everyday! She will be reported by me

This store is extremely dismissive and "I didn't do that "and likes to protect one another when confronted by a customer who has called them out for an error of Hannaford's gift cards. When I returned after thinking about what they said to make me stop talking so that I could get my refund of my gift card, they said that I harassed them. I am an Asian woman of color who has been told to go back to my country many times since trumps election- this area 3 times since then. This store reminds me of those kind of people. Not only were they dismissive and lied about laughing at me they also were horrible customer service representatives. One woman laughed at me and another woman who wasn't even there the first time said to me "oh my god no she didn't ". The fat oil faced manager with dark black long straight hair woman also offended me and said "protect my a*** things. Head store running manager who is male Erik shindner told me he would call the police if I didn't leave bc I was "making a scene". This shows me how they like to not have any responsibility other than to get paid for standing around and helping out people with where food is located in the store. They have no capacity as individuals and workers in that Hannaford's in West Lebanon New Hampshire to help anyone or to be a good customer service workers and be responsible and respectable. Not only were all four of those workers completely horrible at their job, they also covered each other's back's. I was laughed at I was dismissed and I was in the right to speak up. Customers may speak up if there is a problem. But they will get the police called on them if they say the same things that the workers said or cut them off talking just like they did to me, if you cut them off they will say you're causing a scene and call the police on you. This is the worst customer service experience worse than Xfinity LOL that I have ever encountered in my entire life growing up here. I will say that whoever is higher up from Eric shindner will be speaking with me and they will all get reprimanded and learn from this experience. Worst disaster I have ever seen with women covering eachother gossiping trying to save their a** from their manager job they shouldn't have with that interpersonal skills. It showed me so much. And they won't learn. "That woman was harrassing us" - no this woman was standing up for myself and calling you out for your horrible customer service.
