I had talked and emailed with Ashley Adamo about one specific used car. I had set up an appointment for the next day (TODAY) and when I got there I did a loop around the parking lot, and I couldn’t find it. I figured that maybe it was in the garage, getting it cleaned up for me. I went inside and Ashley Adamo was not there. I spoke with a nice lady named Emily, and she had brought me over to her desk. We talked about payment types, and what I was hoping to get out of the visit. She was going to grab the keys for a test drive. BUT when she came back, she told me that the car that I was there for HAD BEEN SOLD THE PREVIOUS NIGHT! I had emailed with Ashley Adamo just this morning about our appointment today. AT NO POINT DID ANYONE FROM UPPER VALLEY HONDA CALL ME OR TEXT ME OR EMAIL ME TO TELL ME THAT THAT CAR HAD BEEN SOLD. I AM BEYOND ENRAGED AND I HOPE THAT ASHELY ADAMO GETS HER KARMA.

I had a great experience at upper Valley Honda because Bryce went above and beyond to make sure we were taking care of. With a fast great experience I will be sure to suggest visiting to anyone buying a car local or in the New York area.

If I could give zero stars I would. Had a 9am appointment to look at a car was suppose to meet with sales mgr to have my truck appraised and take a look at the car. I get to the front desk lady says sale mgr is in a meeting till 930am oh interesting as I have appointment for 9am with him. She goes back to see what's going on tells me sales lady will be right out. So I wait when she comes out she tells me car was sold. So now I drove here waited and you didn't have the courtesy to call and tell me great buisness practice lost my buisness forever. Should have known when sales mgr didn't call me back when I left him a vm day before to ask a question. To many dealers to waste time on shady sales practices.

I've had my Hybrid CRV for over a month now, and am very happy with the car and the process to buy it! Emily Deane was a real pleasure to deal with. She was easy to talk to and work with on the purchase. I would highly recommend her and Upper Valley Honda as the place to buy a Honda. I will be back there when our other car needs to be replaced!

September 2023 by Nicole B.
On Monday, September 18, 2023 I left work in Hartland, Vermont to drive the 3.5 miles home in my 2019 Honda HRV. I made it almost half way before, as I was climbing up hill on a dirt road the car just stopped responding to the gas pedal and I was stopped, dead in the middle of the road. There were no warnings, electric seemed fine. I turned the car off and attempted to restart it. It would not start again. Luckily two of my neighbors came by and blocked the road in both directions so I was able to roll backwards and into a driveway to get out of the lane of travel on Merritt Rd. Then one of my neighbors drove me back to my business so my daughter could drive me back to the HRV and get all my stuff out of it and then bring me home.I used my AAA membership to have the HRV towed to Upper Valley Honda in White River Junction, Vermont to figure out why a basically new car (with EXTREMELY low miles) would just die...The next morning, Tuesday September 19, 2023 I called Upper Valley Honda shortly after 8am to explain to them what happened. I spoke to "Scott," who told me that he would be my "contact person" and that he also was the one who had found my HRV in the parking lot and attempted to start it and realized why it was there. They had rolled the car into the service garage.Several hours later Scott called me back and was, in a word, WEIRD. It was a very strange conversation, but I finally managed to get out of him that his mechanic there at Upper Valley Honda had REFUSED to work on my car. He had popped the hood, declared that the car "must live on a farm" and the smell was so strong (from inside the engine compartment???) that he could not touch the car. Apparently the mechanic's manager okayed his refusal to work on my car and they rolled my HRV back out into the parking lot.Scott then told me I could either have my car towed to a different service station or come clean it.I Was Speechless.Amazed really.May I just say: I HAVE A JOB. I own my own business. I work for a living, usually 10 hours a day. I do not have time to go over to Upper Valley Honda and CLEAN THE OUTSIDE OF MY CAR SO THEY CAN DIAGNOSE THE REASON IT WON'T RUN.(Joke was on me though, because Upper Valley Honda KNEW what the problem was...)I had AAA go back to Upper Valley Honda (AAA was as confused as I was about why they were towing my car for a second time in less than 24 hours and from the lot of a Honda dealership no less) and tow my car out to Precision Motorworks in Bethel, Vermont. Now, here's the thing: the "problem" with my HRV was that Honda has a recall on the fuel pump and mine had died. Precision Motorworks WENT AND GOT THE REPLACEMENT FUEL PUMP FROM UPPER VALLEY HONDA. WHERE IT WAS IN STOCK.Not only did Upper Valley Honda have the RECALLED fuel pump in stock, they knew precisely what car Precision Motorworks was purchasing the part for. MY CAR. The Upper Valley Honda Representative/Employee said, "Yeah. We couldn't work on that car."Upper Valley Honda REFUSED to perform Honda recall service on my car. So I had to pay an actual service station to perform that work.I will, obviously, be filing in Court against Upper Valley Honda to recover every, single cent I have paid to get the work done they refused to do. Along with days and days of inconvenience of having no car, having my car moved around and finally having to get a ride to get it from 45 min away, instead of the 10 min ride to White River Junction.Did Upper Valley Honda refuse to service my car because I'm a woman?? Was it the Black Lives Matter stickers on my car?? Because saying my car "smelled like a farm" is a lot LESS believable as a reason to deny service on an actual HONDA RECALL.It never would have occurred to me that was even a possibility.I obviously cannot continue to own a brand that does not stand behind its product or provide any kind of reliable service network. The 1.9 star rating on Dealer Ratings should really be more of a "red flag" to Honda and all the rest of us out here ju

Happy to have had my '10 Honda CRV's recall performed. Happy to drive away with a safe car. HOWEVER, I was told at the time of repair that the car may not pass...not driveable. BUT, AND we have no loaners or rentals. I am a single woman, living alone...not a happy moment for me. I'll be reviewing other Honda dealers for their customer service.

This is a hard review to write as my family has purchased many vehicles from the former Gerrish Honda, but I will never buy another vehicle from Upper Valley Honda. We worked with Bryce and he is the sole reason this review is not one star. I loved Bryce, he was a joy and helped get us into the exact car I wanted, he was honest with us and treated us fairly and respectfully. My issue with this place starts and ends with the finance manager. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and he could obviously tell. We were quoted around 7-8% APR and assumed all of the numbers being written up were consistent with that. We began signing papers and he did the usual insurance and warranty pitches and whatnot, we finally signed some papers then realized we didn’t confirm the actual APR. Once he finally acknowledged our question, he told us it was 14%!!!! He neglected to tell us that he had doubled the APR on us and when we called him out on it he refused to make eye contact, he avoided our questions and was downright despicable. He rudely offered to rip up our contract and start a new one, but it had taken nearly 30 minutes for the first offer to be written up and we didn’t have the time to wait, plus we had been there for nearly 3.5 hours already! He also told us that we could make the first several payments then refinance the loan once my credit score improves, but my credit score wasn’t the issue as I was approved at another credit agency at 8% no less then a week after purchasing my car. Upon speaking to the manager about what had happened he said he would check it out and talk to the financial manager; if that actually happened I have no idea, but judging by the manager’s tone it was common practice for this to occur. Be extremely careful working with these people when trying to finance a car, as consistent with other reviews, they WILL drag you along, make you impatient and overcharge you an INSANE amount! Never again will I buy a car here and I hope to warn everyone else about the slimy tactics used here.

Service here is deplorable, it should not take 2 hours for a simple oil change, but its never a simple oil change, there is always something else the car needs. They address the A16 and A17 codes but scam you into other Services that the car does not need. I brought my 2021 CRV for its 6-month oil change A16 code in December 2022 thinking I would be in and out in less than 1 hour with a bill for less than $100, I thought wrong, my bill was over $400. I am a sucker when they say you need cabin and engine filters changed, they even talked me into agreeing to get my brakes cleaned. A simple oil change turned into a $400 bill; I was adamant after that experience that never ever will I go back to Upper Valley Honda.I wish there was another Honda dealership in the area, 6 months later today July 7th now I am getting an A17 code, since I just had my snow tires removed, I did not need my tires rotated but I was desperate for another oil change and figured I would give them another chance to redeem themselves. It was another bad experience, I got suckered again thinking I needed cabin and engine filters changed, 6 months and 9,000 miles later, when Honda recommends changing between 15,000 to 30,000. They showed me this video of my car up on a lift then showing me how dirty my cabin filter was, how do I know that the filter in the video is the filter from my car and how do I know that they even changed it? It was NOT another simple in and out oil change, I got charged $60 labor for the oil change and $90 of labor to snap in 2X $30 filters $150 of labor, so now my simple $70 oil change was now $270, what a scam, this service department should be investigated. I spoke to the General Manager Steve Perlowski to no avail; I was not satisfied with his offer to credit me $100 for my next oil change. I will take my business elsewhere. They just lost a very good customer; I was ready to trade in my 2021 CRV for the newer 2023's.

My wife had taken our van from NC to VT for a weekend trip with family. On a drive between locales, the van died on the side of the interstate. It was ultimately towed to Upper Valley Honda on a holiday weekend. Will and team took time to correspond with me (all the way down in NC) to let me know exactly what was going on (including sending videos with a detailed explanation of what had gone wrong with our van). The staff here (notably Will) were phenomenal. Friendly, professional, caring, and willing to spend as much time with me on the phone understanding the issues. I could not recommend this business highly enough. They got my wife home safe and sound.

Overall I had great experience with Upper Valley Honda. They made my purchase so easy. Cody always replied on emails in timely manner. Kyle was also very helpful and very friendly which made us comfortable during the purchase process. I had a previous experience with Gingras auto and that’s why I drove 3 hour to buy another car! Highly recommended place.

The service here was absolutely incredible! Danny Miller was a delight to work with and he helped put me in my very first car, which felt nearly impossible for a very long time! I went in very nervous, feeling like I wasn’t going to come out with a car, and he made sure I did! We also bonded over our experiences in New York and our taste in music. He was a wonderful person to sell you a car and have good conversation with!!

Great experience! Bought my first car from Steve 20 years ago and glad I came back to another Honda again! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted and well taken care of. They took the time to answer all questions we had and made the whole process smooth and effortless. Thank you Dan, Craig and Kyle!

Dan miller helped me purchase my Ridgeline. Great sales skills, not the typical pushy car routine you usually get at dealerships. William Harris also a very good manager
