Every single month I call them 10x on every prescription I fill here. They are late filling/shipping to me by weeks. Every. Single. Month. These are prescriptions that have refills and do not need prior authorization. It is 100% DHMC pharmacy error causing the delays.

My doctor sent an rx for a 3 month supply of a medication. The pharmacy sent me a one month supply without informing myself or the doctor. They did not adjust the renewal date when they changed the supply to one month instead of three. I ran out of medication and they would not renew until the 3 month point. My doctor attempted to call in a new rx and they told me “your insurance won’t fill it” (until that same 3 month date). My insurance won’t fill a common medication for a lifelong chronic illness until I’ve been out of it for over two months? They won’t fill it because you told them via the system that you filled a 90 day rx when you only sent a 30 day supply. I should add this is NOT a controlled substance and should not have any limit like this. I called countless times, spent hours on the phone explaining this to DHMC staff and still they have not resolved this.I fill several prescriptions here and every single one of them is weeks late every single month. I ration my doses of medications like blood thinners and arrhythmia medications often by taking only 1/3 to 1/2 of what I’m prescribed and still that’s not enough to cover their errors and delays in shipping every month. People should not have to ration their meds down to 30% to compensate for pharmacy errors. When you refill in the app or through their automated text system the prescription sits there for weeks. Even when you call multiple times it takes 10+ days from the day you start calling to receive the medication in the mail. Their inefficiency is to the point of absolute blatant negligence continuously.

There are certain medications that I have to fill at DHMC pharmacy. Every single month this pharmacy is weeks to months late on filling and shipping my medications. I spend hours a week calling them regarding medications that do not need a PA, and have active refills. They very often will argue with you about basic mathematical equations such as "we sent you 42 days worth that is 8 weeks supply." These kind of arguments are regarding non controlled routine medications for things like diabetes, arrhythmias, blood pressure, etc. The last couple of months they switched the concentration of one of the medications I use to be able to eat. The higher concentration was not being produced anymore. They once again couldn't compute basic math and sent me enough to dose for 16 meals......over 3 months. One meal every 6 days. Nobody at an Ivy League college pharmacy can comprehend that the same quantity of a medication that is 10x weaker in concentration is not going to last the patient the same amount of time??? Their automated refill system by text, signing up and through the app is useless as it will sit in the "getting refilled" queue for weeks until you call them MANY times and demand they start filling it. Bottom line: don't use DHMC pharmacy for medications you cannot go months without cold turkey or ration your meds to save up a supply. You will never get your medications on time here. I have used them for years because I'm forced to and I don't think I've ever received a refill without a multi week lapse.

Had to go late at night. Everyone was very helpful. They definitely wanted to make sure that we felt comfortable with what was picked up. They informed us about all possible problems and were willing to go above and beyond to help. During the day it is very busy. At midnight we had no problem getting what we needed.

I come by to pick up my prescriptions at least once a month, and the pharmacists have always been professional and kind. True, at certain times during the day the place gets very busy and wait times can be long, but they handle it as well as they can.

No pharmacy had a medication I needed. It was about 170mile round trip. This pharmacy has a 24hr drive thru. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very busy when I arrived. I love the fact that the pharmacy is not inside the hospital. It is in a convenient location.

I was told my prescription would be ready later in the day but was unable to pick it up. My husband went the next day to pick it up for me and he was told that it was being mailed; and that it would be delivered that day or the next. It was never delivered. I called and was told that I had to sign up for the deliveries that they had signed me up for in order for it to be mailed. It had yet to be shipped! I really needed my medication yesterday and it’s not even in the mail. Ugh.

Staff have always been nice to me, pharmacy is poorly run to the point of being nonfunctional. Prescriptions are often not filled until you show up in person. Management is probably disconnected from reality.edit: they always respond asking for people to share their experience, we already did! Just copy and paste these reviews into your own internal system lol.

The customer service for phone needs some serious help. RUDE RUDE RUDE. Haven’t been able to get help any time I have called. It shouldn’t be this difficult for getting your prescriptions. Maybe try better training for your call center staff. I can’t get over how I was spoken to. So disappointed.

I have had problems with DH Pharmacy for months and if I could go anywhere else I would. The left hand does not communicate with the right hand nor does it want to. I live 3 hours away so my meds must be mailed out yet my doc and appts. are there. The mail order pharmacy most always is out of stock of my meds yet the pharmacy at Centera (I am told) is not allowed to mail out my meds that they have in stock. This system sucks for this patient.

Never know if you’re going to get through on the phone. I’ve just called and been hung up on twice. Multiple times I’ve gone in to pick up a script and no one says it’s ready… waited 45 min plus. The drive through even with a couple of cars often takes over 30 min. I call ahead to refill every time. Doesn’t save any time.Subpar.

Tried to get my prescription transferred from a different pharmacy, two calls and two trips to Centerra, and they waited two days to call my other pharmacy, at which point it was closed for the weekend. Now I’m in withdrawal. Thanks for nothing amateurs.

We've used this pharmacy since it opened. Over several regime changes and clear business shifts, it's become unworkable. The pressures DHMC has put on the facility to service a million prescriptions is simply beyond its capability. Wait times, phone service, mailing prescriptions and interaction with doctors and prescription managers are miserable. If you have a condition aggravated by stress or gross insensitivity, my recommendation is to use the diamond lane on the drive through and don't look back.
