“I have to say that everyone at this post office was extremely helpful and pleasant! We are staying at a friends condo in Gilford and I forgot to put the unit # on the address for two Christmas gifts, which were already enroute. I panicked, once I realized the error. I tried the USPS 800 number and THAT number was useless. So I went to the post office, gave the clerk the tracking numbers, and explained what happened. They were very accommodating. One package was given to me and the next was delivered properly two days later! Could not have asked for better customer service and nicer people!! Thank you!”

“Need to mail / ship / package something??? This is the spot in Meredith. Super easy, super convenient. Everything needed to wrap, box, package, weigh, and ship your item.Convenient to Church Landing, Mill Falls and other resorts if you’re needing to ship / receive something. This is a UPS affiliate - not a formal UPS store - so there are some services for returns that require you to go elsewhere (Concord or Plymouth).”

“With new staff, this is undoubtedly the best post office in NH. Very small space with the ability to do passports. Nikki was a pleasure to work with and explained everything thoughtfully+thoroughly. Limited parking.”

““For less than $1, someone comes to your house and delivers a piece of paper anywhere else in the world you want it to go.”From Wikipedia:The USPS traces its roots to 1775 during the Second Continental Congress, when Benjamin Franklin was appointed the first postmaster general; he also served a similar position for the colonies of the Kingdom of Great Britain. The Post Office Department was created in 1792 with the passage of the Postal Service Act. It was elevated to a cabinet-level department in 1872, and was transformed by the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970 into the United States Postal Service as an independent agency.”
