As frustrating as banking can be these days, everyone I've dealt with at the Laconia Branch has always been so pleasant, easy going and absolutely make you feel like they want to help you solve what ever problems you have!!

Worst bank iv ever dealt with rude employees who lie and then hang up on you when you get mad about it hitting accounts with over draft fees that arnt even over drawn at the 10 pm cut off then telling people to deal with it cause they arnt gonna argue ... can't wait to find a new bank after over 10 years of using these scumbags

Citizens gave us a PPP loan based on our business information which they said would be a grant if we followed the directions. We did just that and now they want it back, with interest. They are making money on our Covid woes. Shame on them. This is deceptive lending. Beware!

I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE THEM A 1!!!!!!! WOULDN'T LET ME DO ANYTHING ELSE LOL THIS IS HOW THEY HAVE ANY STARS THEY SUCK!!!!! Citizens staff were more than unwilling to help me out. Was set up with online banking and mobile deposit. Deposited a check from the GOVERNMENT through the app, spoke with staff at the LACONIA branch and was assured it would clear Tuesday. it finally cleared and was deposited into my acct this morning. I was scheduled for a CAT scan which I needed some of this money for a co-pay. The MD called to ensure I was making the appt. I assured him I would be there. On my way home from work I check the acct. and the money is GONE!!!!!!! I stop in at the CITIZENS IN FRANKLIN NH. They tell me now that it was missing a number in the pic taken in the mobile app and that I am NOW going to have to wait for the cancelled check in the mail???????? No CAT scan. I had also planned on going to see my daughter after not seeing her for 6 months for her birthday. Everyone talks about CITIZENS and how awful they are. Now I see for myself. Closed the acct. Do yourself a favor read the reviews, these people are not customer oriented, laughing behind the desks as I am out $400. It may not be a lot to some people but for us we need it. why is it when I called yesterday they knew nothing? COME ON CITIZENS GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!

Needed to go to Citizens Bank, and was headed to Weirs Beach. This location, in Laconia Center, was a little off my beaten path, but the only bank I could get to, and was pretty good at that. Even though it's on a smaller one way street, the actual bank is large, spacious and provides quick in and quick out. Employees are friendly, and it was definitely a nice change of pace to have four tellers rather than one or two (in Massachusetts, lots of Citizens Banks have lines and only one or two employees), as well as an overflowing bin of lollipops (love them!). Two entrances accessible to this location, one on Main Street, and one on Beacon Street E, with a large parking lot. There's also a drive thru ATM and drive thru teller in a smaller building a block away on Beacon Street E. 4 stars for the Laconia Citizens Bank. Good stop for me on vacation.

Someone stole my information and charged 2 cameras to my debit card. after numerous calls to citizens bank finally had to go to the main branch and file an affidavit for unauthorized card use. Their employee filled out the form and my wife signed it. After weeks of being bounced around they only credit my account for one camera (148.93). When contacted again and more trips to the bank they state that because the form was not filled in correctly they cannot re-open or refund the rest of the unauthorized use. They Filled out the paperwork! We are out 148.93 and there is nothing they can do about it. On top of that it caused my account to be overdrawn and they charged me another $150 in overdraft fees.
