If you have hair, you should book an appointment with Christopher. He really appreciates his clients, he knows hair (even mine which was a thinning mess) and he's loads of fun. The salon is charming - there's a fountain and a fireplace in the waiting room - the music is lovely. It's just so calm and comfortable you forget that you're in a hair salon. And you leave with great hair. My husband thought I'd come home in tears. I did not. I came home with the best cut I've ever had and, most importantly, an understanding of what had gone wrong with my hair and how to keep it going in a healthy direction. He is an expert in individualized cutting techniques and finding just the right nuance of tones to result in natural looking color - even for a ginger like me! Today's appointment at Christopher's Salon was pure joy! My last haircut was in February 2020, and my usual style fell out of shape and lengthened by at least a foot. My stylist of over 30 years retired during Covid, and I knew I was going to move to NH in 2021, so I just let it go. Finding Christopher on the first try was a Godsend. His shop was easy to find and park. His shop was clean and homey. Lots of pictures and comfy furniture in the waiting room made me feel relaxed. He offered me a cup of coffee, and then we got down to business. Being my first visit, he had to explore my hair and listen to what I wanted. He took everything I said into consideration and worked wonders. All the while, we had a great conversation and learned a bit about each other. I walked out feeling beautiful and energized. His price was extraordinarily generous. Needless to say, I have already made my next appointment. If you're already a client, you know what I'm talking about; if you're not...you should treat yourself.

I recently relocated from RI and needed a hairdresser in the Laconia area. I was impressed by the reviews for Christopher's and decided to make an appointment and see how it went.Christopher could not have been more awesome! He talked to me in depth about my hair, what I liked about it, what sort of time I was willing to spend in styling each morning, what sort of styling products I use, etc..He colored and cut my hair and it looked the best it has looked in YEARS! I have only had 2 other hairdressers in my life and I am in my mod 50s so....The next 2 appointments we played with the color and cut and I am so pleased with the results! Moved to the area recently from upstate NY and was looking for a good hairdresser who could cut and highlight my hair. After searching online and reading many reviews about different salons, I chose Christopher's based on the reviews. I was not disappointed! He did a wonderful job on the color and shaped my straight hair so it would lay nice and even. Plus, he has a great sense of humor and makes you feel relaxed right from the start. Highly recommend. Now I don't have to travel 4 hours back to Albany every six weeks for a haircut! Thank you, Christopher.

Christopher is a very skilled and professional! He takes the time to get to know exactly what you want while guiding you to make your style look the best it can! I’ve been wanting to lighten my hair but I am very low maintenance so we went with some highlights. I absolutely love the cut and color and how subtle it is, yet people closest to me notice it. I’d would recommend Christopher to everyone who is nervous about haircuts/colors.
