I am an out of towner who vacations here annually and twice now I’ve needed auto repair while in the area. Years ago it was my truck that needed u joint replacement.This year it was the car that needed a wheel bearing. In both instances, I was in a pickle one I wanted to use the car with the fam while here and two, I had to have safe transportation home.Both times Steven came through with shining colors for me and my family. Honest business practice all around and I’d use bayside as my regular shop if I lived in the area. Steven is personable, honest and knowledgeable. Steve is a great representation of what integrity toward customer service standards should be and understands no one wants to empty their bank account when they go to get their vehicle repaired. My daughter is currently working in NH (We live in RI) and her car was making a noise. Looked up recommended mechanics via Car Talk's website. They took the time to look the car over. There is a front ball joint that is acting up. Spoke to the mechanic and he said it can wait and he would be confident to let his own daughter drive her car without the repair. Being a couple of hundred miles away, he could have easily told me it needed the repair and I would not have known any different. A truly honest mechanic is one who tells you the repair is not needed.
