The worst experience ever in 35 years. Profoundly unhelpful phone staff. I could never recommend them to my clients. My current clients are very unhappy with them.

We lost power during the big April snowstorm this week. We’d placed an order about a week prior to the storm arriving. We are going on day 5 of no power. Backup generator ran the propane tanks dry. They never made the delivery and still cannot give an explanation why. Driver was explicitly instructed twice via phone call to the call center to contact us upon arrival.
NO PRIMARY HEAT OR HOT WATER for 5 days with small kids in the house. They don’t get it and seem to not care. Not sure what has happened to the company we were happy previously.
We are a Large family with very small children. We then paid an additional $300 to expedite delivery on Friday April, to be made within 24 hours. The driver was asked to call upon arrival or knock on our door. They did neither. I am unable to get anyone stateside on the line.
Their call center is overseas and the reps are very nice but aren’t able to communicate directly with the drivers or management in NH.
I’d recommend shopping around for a propane provider with better customer service reps who can actually get things done. I’d rather have a grumpy local guy in NH that can make things happen.
Luckily we have an emergency backup source for heat. My heart goes out to all the Amerigas customers in a similar position after this storm that don’t have a backup heating source.
**I would highly recommend NOT using Amerigas Propane **
We will be looking for a new propane company to work with. I’m sure it’s difficult finding drivers and workers right now.

These positive reviews are spammed by the company. No customer is happy with the service they receive from Amerigas. Company is hemorrhaging customers for this reason. For proof call the number listed and order propane, you’ll be put on hold for hours to speak to someone in India and never receive what you ordered. Eastern Propane and Irving are the best companies in the area

I am on automatic delivery and you let me run out. I lost two days of work because I had to wait for you and you couldn’t tell me when the delivery would arrive. Your company sucks.
