Hard pan fairways and tee boxes sparse. Some holes have options for par 4 or 3, or par 5 or 4. Wasn’t informed about this option. Couldn’t get our cart right away, had to wait for it due to availability.

We were a group of 10 and we played in 3 separate groups for the front 9. Due to the course not being busy, we tried to do 2 groups of 5 on the back 9 and the ranger would not allow it. Also, there was a group of 6 in front of us and they didn't get talked to. We understand if it was busy but there was not any groups anywhere near us and we were keeping pace. He literally stalked us for the rest of the round. We ended up splitting back up and at the end, we waited for the last group to finish. He came up to us, telling us we needed to hurry up and get the carts back. There were plenty of carts and there were no parties waiting for them. That old man really needs to get a life and find some real problems on the golf course.

STAY FAR AWAY, paid for 18 holes for 2 golfers here over $100 for the round and this absolutely useless old man named “bob” if that’s his real name will stalk you and tell you you’re behind pace even if there is a group in front of you slowing you down, he will then accuse you of not paying for 18 calling you a liar, he then refused to let you tee off and go back to the club house to deal with it on your own however he will not follow you to explain his side so I see it as he is ok with you wasting your time be he cannot waste his precious time. After going back to get a refund for the 9 we didn’t play once walking out of the club house he arrived and stared us down until finally coming over and asking us again “did you really pay for 18” after watching me walk out of the club house from getting a return. Bob needs to be fired immediately and sent into retirement he is a terrible employee with terrible customer service he actually said he wish he was golfing so it seems like he just wanted one less group so his day could end early STAY AWAY I will not be coming back

Twilight rate went up from $20 to $25 and you no longer get a bottle of water included. They also got rid of the gift card deal.

If you just want to get out and play some golf, this is the best place in the area! I go at least once a week and take advantage of the twilight rate. Have been met with nothing but great experiences and smiling faces - RARE for a New England golf course! Somehow always feel no pressure here and it is a great course for the price. Though I want to keep the hidden gem to myself, I felt some reviews were unwarranted so wanted to share my experience.

I play here at least once a week and 90% of the time, conditions are great. The only time that conditions are below average, is during maintenance. The layout is great and requires some accurate shots, but there is a good mix of easier and challenging holes overall. The carts are brand new and have GPS which is a nice bonus. Prices are consistent with other courses in the area as well.
100% recommend playing this hidden gem.

I liked playing at Granite Fields the other day. One suggestion would be to have water on the course !
Thanks, Charlie

There are a lot of negative reviews of this course which feel a bit undeserving. This course was the perfect, no-frills golf course. If you want to get out on the course and just play some golf - this is a great option - greens and tee boxes were well maintened and it looks like they recently renovated the club house. Views and statues were a plus. It’s a golf course not a country club and that’s exactly what we were looking for.
