Well, Not good. Not good at all. I was looking for a way to distract my friend from the stress she's under AND it was the 2nd Anniversary of her husband's death. In addition, I was celebrating have a miracle happen in my life. I was almost 2-weeks post kidney transplant. We had to go to a salon closer to my friend's house because she didn't have a lot of time before her daughter was going to get home. PROS: ~The owner was lovely in getting in at such a last minute. ~She had a very fun personality. ~As it turned out, the owner used to cut my friend's deceased husband. #Signs ~It did lighten my friend's day and we just laughed at being unintentional "Heman twinsies." CONS: ~She gave me and my friend a really short, really crappy haircut. WE told her exactly how short we were willing to go and even provided photos of what we were looking for. I wanted NO SHORTER THAN MY collar bones and Chelle wanted it just a week shorter than that. We both had hair down past our shoulders. ~NONE of that was paid attention to OR she insisted the haircut wouldn't look good on us that we wanted. Once you take my glasses off? Well, I can't see a damned thing and I thought she was going to lower the belt she has you hold around your neck for her to cut it. Once it was hacked off, nothing I could really do. Ain't like you can glue it back on and start over, right? ~She had said she had given this 'HeMan' haircut twice before and everyone loves it. I should have known and asserted myself - but I was on and am on so many damned medications got me a little loco and I am feeling so grateful for this miracle, I just didn't say much but give platitudes and focus on telling my friend how great she looked. She really can carry the 'haircut of doom' off. In closing, it has been my experience that if your hairdresser is on the older side and has a shaved, short hairstyle? RUN RUN RUN if you want to keep your hair any type of length besides ear length. *UGH* If you're looking for a manly haircut, then this is your place. Or if you want a super short, mushroom-headed bob, then this is your place, too. Live and Learn but I won't be going back there again and we only tipped $5.oo each because we weren't happy with the results. I'd show you a picture but don't see a way of adding it - yet.

Margie (the owner). is both professional and friendly. every time I've gone there with my sister (who is special needs) and other family members she is always done a wonderful job! very kid friendly as well as high functioning disabled people!
