“LePage's Auto Wholesale is a business built on integrity. I wanted to replace my 2010 Honda Element after mine had been totaled in a hit and run. I was frustrated at the situation and just wanted my car back. I found almost my exact vehicle, with lower miles at LePage's. I drove 2.5 hours from CT to look at it and then on a second trip, bought the vehicle. At the time of purchase, the power door locks would only respond intermittently to the button on the door or the remote. LePage's put in writing that they would warranty it past the standard warranty they offer. We just needed it to fail completely in order to properly troubleshoot it. So I took the vehicle. Multiple times it appeared to fail completely and LePage's stood by their promise. They paid my local mechanic to try and fix it. When that didn't work, they told me to bring it back to them. They repaired it free of charge and paid for my rental and even drove me back and forth to the rental company.
This is what "standing by your sale" looks like. If every auto reseller treated their customers this way, the thought of buying a car would not be so anxiety ridden for so many people.
