If you looking for a great place to kick back, answer emails, enjoy a smoothie and some healthy food this is a great stop. Nice salad bar and yummy soups. Love the hot bar, sushi, tofu and the music. Everyone who works there has always been friendly. Two thumbs up to the nice person who made some killer smoothie suggestions when I was feeling under the weather. My only wish is that the cookies were a little softer.

We recently purchased several prepared platters for a memorial service. Everything was perfect - excellent communication from the very beginning, the platters were ready on time, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended.

Besides being typically way too pricey for anyone using EBT/SNAP to eat, this is THE ONLY coop in New England I’ve been to that seems to try harder to make EBT/SNAP shoppers welcome by making more in house made food available for purchase with this currency. Also they treat one the same as the credit card holders as far as I can tell. Way to go Manadnock!

The overall selection is obviously smaller than a large grocery chain, but the selection they do have is very diverse, with many local options not offered by bigger stores.

Grabbed a hot Golden Latte & a yummy pasta salad in the cafe as well a couple skincare items. Wonderful ambience! There’s a spacious, light filled cafe seating area, a bakery & plenty of parking. Thank you!

Decent selection of quality food, but don't expect to get through in a timely manner. There's absolutely no front-end management. During a lunch rush or other peak business period, every open register will have one huge order with a line of people each with one or two items behind it. Not an open express lane in sight. The other night, I was in a very long line at the single available register. It was a little late in the evening, so I was resigned to it until I realized their second cashier was just in line herself buying ice cream. She eventually opened back up, but she was 4th or 5th in line, so it was kind of pointless.TLDR: There are enough local farms that sell directly that it's hard to recommend shopping here unless you're friends with the cashiers and want to chat.

One of the best coops in the area. Nice selection of foods, and a nice cafe area. Had to wait there in the eating area for hours once, and we could use the wifi.

Shop he sometimes . Not all the food has natural ingredients . Fruit and veggies look the the same thing that's in grocery stores . Not fresh. Some so called organic items have chemicals and soy. Still have to look at labels .

Monadnock Food Co-op used to be a great place to shop with the best customer service/workers, but things began to change for the worse around 5 years ago. New management? They seem to be cultivating a weird work environment that gives off a creepy vibe to customers. In the new bakery/prepared foods department the manager was not helpful at all when asked about their products/services to the point of being rude. He seemed not interested in the service industry that he was hired into. To give perhaps some helpful advice: There are still some quality workers there, but they are not management. Monadnock should hire true health food professionals who care about nutrition and good business practices to manage their store. In addition, the muffins/cookies/etc. in the bakery are inedible. We avoid this store now at all costs.
