Nicholas is a creative master with hair. He listens to my ideas and offers his. It’s a collaborative effort. Especially now since my hair has thinned and the style requires hiding the thinner areas and add volume. I enjoy watching him delve into my hair, cutting at various angles and twisting strands with speed and expertise. The result is lovely. It’s been 2 weeks wearing my new style. I love Moda. The vibe is relaxing and esthetically pleasing all in one. The art work, the music, the view looking down on downtown Main Street. You can see without being seen. I think of Nick as an artist with the special tools needed for my very fine hair. I love his conversation skills and personality. Great with all ages. A very skilled craftsman. I highly recommend.

My neurodivergent 6 year old had a silly putty hair emergency yesterday morning. I tried to get it out myself unsuccessfully, so off to the salon we went hoping someone could help her quickly before i had to get to work. Nick got her right in and gave her an adorable cut, despite her messy bedhead, that saved the length of her hair but also framed her face nicely. He was very good with her and she was all smiles both during and after. Very pleased with Nick's friendly demeanor and the overall experience. She loves her new cut!Service: Kids' cuts

It's been nine days since the haircut. I would like to give an update on my review. My hair is growing out well and is back to a decent length. For an update, the overall first cut was good, the length was just too short, which made me a but disappointed. He is very talented at cutting hair and is kind, just made a honest mistake of cutting too much when my hair was wet. Thus, I would like to change the overall rating to a 4.

I just had my second appointment with Nick. He definitely knows his way around a head of hair with a pair of shears. He's a master hair stylist, for sure. Both cuts have been off the map perfect. I've lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco for many years and had my hair cut by "the best". Nick is as good or better with more actual skill and great judgment about what works. He knows hair. Who knew?! A master hair stylist right here in Keene! Wow!

Fantastic haircuts. Much better than you would think possible in a town this size. Friendly stylist and nice staff to boot. Had some scheduling issues a while back that all seem resolved now... if you are in southern New Hampshire there won't be a better place.

I went in with one photo, asked for 10+ inches of hair off, and walked out with an absolutely beautiful pixie haircut that Nicholas created from the shambles of long hair I had. He had perfect tweaks to make the hair photo I showed him fit perfectly for me!He advised me on how to manage the new wicked short hair & was a great conversationalist.I will be going to this place again & recommending it to my friends.Service: Haircut

I thought I would share with people interested, that as of today (May 2021), a hair cut at this salon is $60, not (starting from) $28, as listed on their website. I have short hair (shoulder length) and I was given this quote over the phone today. Very misleading, as it is more than double than what they list online.On a personal note, coming from Washington DC where I had a fantastic stylist do my hair (it was long) at $75 or less, this seems quite expensive to me because New Hampshire isn't Washington DC, and it doesn't have anywhere close to its level of salaries.

I love the haircut Nick gave me, he is very talented and creative. He used techniques I have never seen before, thank you! His assistant Brittany is very kind, and the studio is spacious and artistic. Would definitely recommend this place!
