I love Ragged Mtn. The best customer service. I had brought my tele skis to several places because the bindings weren't working. Each place told me I had to replace them. Dennis took one look at them, made an adjustment and told me they are good to go. They don't try to upsell you. You can really trust them.

I love coming here! I needed some winter gear and decided to check in here. They have good sales and keep a great selection of gear for all seasons in stock. Lots of different aspects of this place attract me here. Good place for outdoor activity equipment (hiking and skiing) but also a nice area on their first floor for clothes bargains, small bit of used wear and also different cloth material, zippers, latches and misc remnants that I love for misc projects I have. (Last fall I bought wonderful felt strips that I used to insulate my front door windows for winter)

I have been in this area since 2014, but never visited the store. However, my wife and I were there for the 10 am opening; we wanted to obtain our passes. Being 70 has one advantage; NO CHARGE. In any case, we scrutinized the store. Lots of inventory and everything is arranged logically and neatly. Staff was friendly and showed motivation to help with anything. I did buy some nice compression socks at a very reasonable price. In my humble opinion, make this your store for winter outfitting!

Excellent service. Very knowledgeable staff. Gotten the very best advice about AT ski equipment and AT skin handling. I bought G3 skins, skin "love gloves" and skin savers. These folks practice what they preach right in their own backyard - the Whites. Strongly recommend!

I bought Ragged Mountain Equipment hand made mid-layer hooded jacket, over mitts, and the most amazing alpine fleece sports bra. All have held up to winter use hiking in the White Mountains. The jacket is my go-to because breathable, warm, and beautifully designed to fit a woman's body. The fleece sports bra is the perfect base layer, it keeps me warm and it doesn't get sweaty or clammy.

Owen helped at the shop last Saturday, ended up purchasing a new set SCARPA AT boots and set of G3 skins. I was able to get the Intuition liners baked and fitted for me. This was the 5th set of liners I’ve had done, and this was simply the best ever, Owen is a master at the job! Great shop with top quality gear and most importantly outstanding service!
