I can not say enough great things about Lowell Road Veterinary Center. Our dog Ginger went there for Physical Therapy after her ACL surgery. Her physical therapist Ashley was wonderful! Her knowledge and ability to put Ginger through her exercises was outstanding. Ginger is back to her healthy and happy place again and I firmly believe it was because of Ashley’s compassionate personality and professionalism that contributed to Ginger’s recovery. Thank you so much. David, Barbara French and of course Ginger.

Not very pleased at all. Went for my dog with allergies chewing her feet. And she never even looked at her feet. All they wanted to do was give her 4 other shots for other things she said was missing. She finally gave her a shot and 2 days later she's chewing them again. Would not recommend her at all. 5 shots for a small yorkie in one sitting is way to much. Not happy at all. Will never go there again. It was a holiday weekend. I read that you take these reviews seriously but I haven't heard back not one peep from them. 134 dollars for me bringing my pet with some thing with her feet and the vet doesn't even look at her paws. I'm very disappointed in this vet. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PLACE. WOULDN'T ADVISE ANYONE TO!!!!!! I do not recommend Dr Komma at all. Never even looked at my baby paws. Also she wasn't missing any shots at all. I had just taken her to her regular vet this past June.

I cannot say enough good things about Lowell road vet!
Every single visit we have had, the staff has been so attentive and friendly.
Not to be outdone by their staff, the veterinarians here are incredibly helpful, always willing to answer questions, and checking in on our dog afterwards.
Most recently, Courtney helped us with an international health certificate so we could travel with our dog. This started as a stressful condition for travel, but Courtney went way above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Courtney literally took it from start to finish, and sent us a message that the certificate had been delivered to our home minutes after delivery!
If you are looking for a great vet, end your search, you will not be disappointed with these great people.

Apparently the groomer here is too busy to return calls. My poor Shih tzu has been suffering from being extremely matted and needs to be seen by a vet for professional grooming so I contacted Lowell Rd Vet but the front desk aren’t helpful nor friendly. When I expressed my concerns and urgency of the matter, all she could say to me is that “she is a very busy woman”. I guess that’s how they treat new clients. Very disappointed! Taking my business elsewhere!

This is now the 2nd time I have scheduled to bring my kitty in to the office for his 6 month check up, and the second time I have left knowing I chose the right vet office. Dr. Stroganoff was great and vet tech, Isaac was awesome. Both had a great bedside manner, and although my kitty was very vocal that he did NOT want to be there, I felt welcomed by them both. Very happy indeed!

My dog is a diabetic who requires a high dose of insulin twice daily to remain healthy. Near the beginning of our diabetic journey, I called to have him seen because he was refusing his food and so I was unable to give him his insulin. They scheduled me for the following evening to bring him in. They did not say it was an emergency and he should go to urgent care immediately. When we arrived to his appointment, he was in keto acidosis. We had to go to the emergency vet where he was admitted for a week and we were told there was a good chance he would not survive this. After the ordeal, the original doctor told me they would talk to their front desk team about the urgency of getting diabetic patients in sooner. Since then, getting his insulin can be a pain. On multiple occasions, I have called at opening and by nearing closing called back to confirm that his meds would be ready only to be told that the entire day was not long enough notice for them to remove the prefilled vial from the fridge and stick the label on it. On even more occasions, it's impossible to get in touch with them, you have to leave a message and try again multiple times to get in touch with someone to confirm they have my order in only to be met with answering machine over and over again and no call back. One evening when I arrived to pick up his meds, they had filled one prescription but not his insulin. I was told a blood glucose curve would be required to fill it. I was happy to schedule that but denying him his insulin in the meantime would not be good. They were able to get the doctor to fill the prescription but knowing his history I'm not sure how they would consider not filling it an option. A few months ago, after picking up his prescription, I received a call to bring the insulin back because they gave me the wrong one. Tonight my cousin picked up his prescription for me because he was able to get there before they closed and when I took it out of the fridge to administer it, it was again the wrong medicine but they were closed. Missing two 22 unit doses of insulin before they would be open tomorrow is not an option for him. I was able to go to urgent care and they swapped it for the correct insulin but at this point, I could not recommend this practice.

Worst experience i've ever had. they charge you for services they don't even do. They lie to your face about what they did.

I brought my animal to them for years and they were great until my animal was actually sick. I had a question about her food and the staff refused to have the vet call me and said they were too busy that I needed to make an appointment.

I would give zero stars if possible! I took my dog in for what I thought were EAR INFECTIONS! The doctor came in the room and barely looked in one ear and charged 70.00 for that calling it an exam. When asked if she could clean his ear she said you can do that at home. The whole bill was close to 250.00! I don't believe that was an exam nor should I have had to pay 70.00 for that! This Doctor went on to tell me that since I own a bulldog I will need to have 30,000 (yes thirty thousand dollars in the bank) that's crazy, I have owned 4 bulldogs and never did I spend that kind of money. She also named about 20 things I could do to ring up the bill, none of which I agreed to. Oh and she wanted to give him a steroid. Does she know anything about bulldogs? They do not do well on steroids and there was no need! Thankfully, I know my dogs and I always have their best interest at heart. I complained and got a call from the practice manager who said the doctor said she checked his heartbeat therefore it was an exam, well she is a lier, she never checked his heartbeat! What a rip off this place is. I won't ever go back! They don't care about your pet!

I had to bring my cat Murray in for a second visit today 1/21/24 because he got too spicy for his annual check up. I changed out his carrier for a carrier swaddle bag to keep him calmer. The office staff were amazing, treating my boy with care and consideration for his anticipated attitude. I was more stressed than the cat. I called before bringing him in, reception made sure he could go straight back. I hovered at the desk listening for Murray to act up and again reception never once made me feel like I was out of line or in the way. (A lovely girl with pink hair, I'm sorry I didn't ask her name) Murray was grumbly but (prayers answered) he made it thru his appointment and we got him back home to his happy place. Thank you to all who worked with my boy today to keep him healthy.

We unfortunately had to put our dog down. He lived 15 long years. The people here were kind, gentle, and empathetic to our families' needs.
