“Hidden gem!! Rusty is so welcoming and his collection is amazing. Nicely organized and always something new. You could spend hours looking at everything. I haven't left empty handed yet.”

“Love this owner-operated adorable, well stocked, hospitable and committed to all things Lowell book seller and gathering place. I went to a writer's club meeting recently (I aspire!) and met the nicest, brightest most creative people! Can't wait for the next visit!”

“Great experience today at Morning Star in Nashua. Wide selection of gifts, cards and books which Emily took the time to assist in locating. She was professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in every way. Was well worth my trip from S.E. Massachusetts.”

“Really needed a book for a friend’s birthday, the man working is such a great guy, great vibe from him and the place. So many interesting book choices, if you would like to learn words in different languages, this store got it all. Amazing location, great selection of inventory, great vibes. In all, would come back every time I need a book. Would love to see this place thrive and thrive. Im 20 years old and this got my attention, especially with the decline of interest towards books, I think this place would get you interested. Keep up the great work!”

“Lots of great UML swag and nice store. They need “University of Lowell” goods. Lowell State and Lowell Tech goods are available, but no University of Lowell.”

“I haven’t been yet, but I’m rating this 5 stars specifically because of all the 1 star reviews complaining about the mask mandate. I got covid in 2020 and have become permanently disabled by it. The fact that somewhere as special as a bookstore (my favorite places in the world) still requires and enforces a mask policy, and goes as far as to applaud when people leave because they refuse to comply, fills me with so much joy and relief. I absolutely cannot wait to check this place out and to tell the staff in person how grateful I am that people like them still exist.”
