My dog valor had to spend an extended stay at barking dog because of a work commitment. I was blown away at the level of service to my dog and myself. They kept me updated throughout the stay, took my dog to the vet when my stay was extended and made my dog feel like part of a family. I was worried about upkeep on his commands but he still listens perfectly. When I picked him up the entire team said goodbye to him. If I ever need to have him stay overnight again I’ll make the trip to this location even though I’ve moved an hour and a half away now. Thank you guys for taking such good care of my dog

I can not express how much I love The Barking Dog! It was stressful trying to find the best place for my boy. The prices are in the ballpark with other facilities, they have a pool (which is great when you have a lab), when I pick my boy up he is happy and tired ?! I have also been doing training with Jocelyn and it has made such a huge difference. She is absolutely wonderful! She keeps you up to date with emails detailing what they worked on and always helps with any questions I have.

As many others, hadn't been away for so long. This sweet place treated our two girlies to a spa weekend and as if they were their own dogs. Above and beyond. EVERYONE had a great weekend! Thank you The Barking Dog - Hooksett!

Always friendly, always helpful. It’s alittle expensive but worth it if my dog is well cared for which he seems to be. Waits to get into socializing so my dog needs to stay in boarding which is not the best but we r waiting. Clean and well organized. The animals do not come out smelling like strong antiseptic as we have experienced in the past. We like it.

I took my dog Natasha to training with Jocelyn and it has been a wonderful experience! Before training, my 11 month old black lab puppy was a bundle of energy who was easily distracted and didn’t listen super well. Jocelyn has taught me amazing tips to get her to focus and calm down and listen to me! She is always available to answer any questions and really makes sure both you and your dog are happy. I can’t recommend training with Jocelyn enough!

Our time at the Barking Dog was fantastic! My pup, Ezra, trained with Jocelyn and he did great. She communicated with me so well, and we both adored her. We also did some day boarding and the rest of the staff were very kind, and just as happy to see Ezra as he was to see them. Thank you for everything and we will see you soon!

We have been taking our American Bully puppy Jabs there for doggy day care and training with Jocelyn. I highly recommend training with Jocelyn as we have seen a great improvement in Jabs behavior. She has taken the time to answer any and all questions we have and has given us some great tools to work on at home with him. Jabs just lights up every time he gets out of the car and sees that he is going to the barking dog!!!

We sent our dog to Jocelyn, the dog trainer in Hooksett. Lulu had no training and was impossible to take for a walk because she had never been trained how to walk on a leash before we rescued her. Jocelyn did 9 sessions with Lulu and she has learned so much. She listens better, responds to our requests and is a joy to take on a walk. I encourage anyone that wants their dog to be trained to contact Jocelyn. In addition, all the people at The Barking Dog in Hooksett are such nice, caring people.

They are so loving and patient with my Frenchie Sasha! Sasha jumps in the car in the morning begging to go see everyone at The Barking Dog. She is still nervous around the other dogs, but the staff make her feel safe! She gives them lots of puppy kisses at the beginning and end of the day! They are also helping her feel safe around water which is huge since we have a swimming pool and I want her to be able to swim in case she falls in!

The staff at the Hookset Barking Dog have been great with our new pup. We really appreciate the Covid 19 precautions they have in place, with an efficient curbside drop-off and pickup. And the pup loves his time with the staff and other daycare dogs. Highly recommend!

This visit was only for a full grooming for the fall/winter shedding season. It's always so amazing how SOFT and lovely they look after a Furminator grooming! It helps around the house for all the fur too, albeit for only a little while (we have a Husky and Eski) but always worth the trip. Decent pricing, NO chemical smells that can aggravate, and this time super fast (usually longer due to the heavy fur of my pups)!

Great place with caring staff. Dora loves going and gets so excited if she knows she is spending the day there. We never have any worries when we board her. It makes it a little easier to go away when we know she is getting excellent care.
