I had to have some real rust taken care of near the back of the front fenders and the front of the rocker panels of my 05 Subaru Impreza. I also had two new fenders I had purchased that I needed installed. When disassembling the areas necessary to do the task, they discovered significant rust and loss of integrity of the metal structure behind the front bumper. They stopped work, sent me pictures, and asked if I wanted them to take care of it. That way I could decide if I wanted the work completed, and how I wanted them to proceed. They fabricated a new section and built it back solidly, but with the same characteristics necessary for crash energy absorption, just like the original piece. They followed that up with the other original tasks. The work was great, the time required was brief, everyone I spoke to was informative and personable, and the price was reasonable. This was the second time I have gone to them for a rust repair issue that I needed done. Subarus have a reputation for the mechanical elements outlasting the bodies, especially in New England. I highly recommend these trustworthy professionals for any work that you need to have done. If you are looking for an outfit to meet your welding needs, you need look no further.

I brought my 2014 Ford Taurus to the property. I was a bit hesitant due to me seeing my own body guy for 5+ years. But I was highly recommend to atleast try out Manns Auto. And I have to say, I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the work that was done to my vehicle. They did custom work that fixed a big issue for myself, and Joe Mann also noticed that I needed an oil change. Which he promptly did as well. 10/10 will go again for any further issues.Services: General repairs & modifications

I had a piece of my tractor break off, a piece that holds a lot of force and the choice was to buy a new part or have it welded. Eric at Mann Auto Welding did the job and I couldn't be happier with it. The welding looks good and it's stronger than new now. Eric was very friendly and understood exactly what I needed. I will go back every time I need welding done. I highly recommend Mann Auto Welding.Service: Welding

I had a great experience here. I failed inspection for a rust hole and they were going to charge me 900. I had a friend refer me to Manns they took me right in and only charged 200. They were fast efficient and very honest.Service: Welding

Thought my 99 Jeep Wrangler was kaput due to badly rusted out frame. Eric gave me a very fair quote and did an awesome job cutting out all the rust and welding in new sections of frame. Would highly recommend.

After reading all of the reviews it is clear that my experience is not dissimilar to others.I inherited a 2002 Toyota Tundra SR5 V6 (for all you Toyota Truck 'junkies' this was a first issue Tundra with the famed 3400 engine and a rare 5 speed manual transmission). The truck had only 167k miles. Just broken in considering the well documented life span of this powertrain. Cab, doors and front of truck had zero rust. However, the rear wheel wells had significant rot as did the frame. In addition to multiple 'holes' in the frame there was rust and signs of further deterioration throughout. The individual I inherited the vehicle from had taken it to a Toyota dealership for consultation. They deemed the vehicle 'unsafe' and 'scrap'.Once I took ownership, I took it to three independent body shops for opinion and to explore options. The feedback was all the same - no one wanted to touch it. One shop did recommend I contact Toyota concerning the frame recall. I did and after multiple conversations with various levels of service hierarchy it was not an option to have Toyota replace the frame under the recall program. Further, I learned they do not manufacture the frame anymore. Buying a new frame and having a shop make the swap was not an option. I then performed an extensive internet search looking for a used frame. Found one in New Mexico but could not confirm all the details. It was during this internet search that I 'stumbled' upon Mann Auto Welding. After reading all the reviews, perusing the pictures of their work and seeing they were only 20 minutes from my house I sent an email to the address on the website and received a response from Eric within 12 hours. We arranged for me to bring the truck to his shop that week for consultation. My first impression of Eric was that he was honest, sincere and an experienced craftsman. He got under the truck and did a thorough search of the frame, bed and wheel wells. We chatted about the work that was needed and Eric carefully explained how he would approach the job. There was a high degree of confidence he had a solution that would not only allow the vehicle to pass inspection but restore to 'as good as new'.He worked up an estimate and sent it to me within two days. I accepted, placed a deposit and we scheduled the work to start in 6 weeks. Eric contacted me ~10 days later with an opening the following week due to a cancellation. Truck went at the end of December. I picked it up ~2 weeks later. In that time Eric had removed the bed, stripped the frame of surface rust, cut out all rotted portions of the frame, custom fabricated new/stronger portions and welded them to the cut out portions, fabricated new mounts, custom fabricated and welded new wheel wells, welded and fixed holes in the bed, replaced rear shock mounts and shocks, and lastly, he painted the entire frame and underside with three coats of sealer and rust prevention. During the process Eric documented the work - and some new findings - with pictures that he emailed to me. This simple step made me feel that the service and work were transparent. Admittedly, I did not expect this but was extremely appreciative of that level of communication.I was not surprised at the result when I picked up the truck. However, that did not overshadow my appreciation and respect for the quality of craftsmanship that went into the result. It exceeded all expectations of what was possible. I am convinced the frame is stronger and will last longer than if it were new. Eric's experience, creativity, honesty and transparency is not only evident in the result but also in the overall level of service. To be able to combine exceptional craftsmanship with exceptional service is rare, in my opinion. Thank you Eric. You have more than earned my respect and recommendation.Services: General repairs & modifications

Super nice people here. Broke my 1969 skibob handle bar in a crash. Drop in to see if they can repair it for me. They drop what they were doing and repaired it for me in 15 minutes. And the price they charged me was awesome. Very affordable. Highly recommended. Their shop is behind the house in a steel building.Service: Welding
