Since I discovered them, I've used Peter White Cycles for all my dyno lighting and wheel building needs. So far I think I've ordered 4 wheels (2 rebuilt due to my own error) and a set of dyno lights. I've been very happy with the service.Online ordering could be nice for small items, but when I call and talk to someone on the phone I can be confident that they understood exactly what I need and I'm going to get something that works for me.I'm hoping to plan a visit to their shop at some point in the future, just to see the operation behind the quality products I've been ordering.

Bought a Tout Terrain Singletrailer from Peter White Cycles. Thanks to the pandemic, the product was severely delayed, but, the communications from the folks at the shop was great and periodic updates were sent.Stoked on the product and the service.Would definitely recommend this shop for the niche products they offer.

The go to place for all bicycle commuters. I am very pleased with the dynamo lighting systems purchased here. Staff was very helpful. The Busch+Muller Fly IQ headlight and Toplight Line taillight exceeded all expectations.

Thank goodness Peter White is still in business. I have known about him for many years, but made my first purchase today. It's a great feeling to talk to someone you KNOW for sure is an expert. No worries about ordering parts. I am probably the right age to fit in Peter's wheelhouse of customers. Luckily there still is a place to buy sensible bike parts. Thanks for providing this service to us Peter!

See my earlier review and update regarding Peter White wheels. It's now three years since my last update and 5-6 years after I originally bought the wheels. I still absolutely love the wheel sets I have on 3 of my bikes. All were built with SON generator hubs on the front, Chris King on the back and spec'd for my weight and a touring load. When I take my bikes in for tuneups I tell the the shop mechanic, "Please leave the wheels alone. Please don't true them, Don't adjust them just leave them alone. Do NOT touch the wheels." I've ridden thousands of miles, not a broken spoke or wobbly wheel. Straight as an arrow. I use Schwalbe Marathon Plus touring tires. I can't remember the last flat I've had. Can't say enough good about these wheels.

Bought two Nokian 26” Mount and Ground studded tires 15-20 years ago from PWC. Not exactly sure of the date, but have ridden them for winter commuting and off-road winter trail riding. Great tires, not super wide so perhaps not that much flotation off-road but definitely saved my bacon on the road more than once. Some rust on carbide spikes, but quickly wears off once I start using them each year, and all spikes still intact. I give them exactly zero care - indeed, they’ve been mounted on the same wheels the entire time with zero flats. Most studs look only slightly worn, if at all. Highly recommend the tires - and the shop. Was going to buy only one for the front, but saw his comment that most who do that return and buy a second soon - thus paying double in shipping - and perhaps I even called and spoke w him - but in any event very satisfied. Keep looking for an excuse to buy wider or more spiked tires, but these actually work just fine so hard to justify.

The worst experience from this dealerI was asking pricing quote for my tout terrain bike. The first one was no issue. But once it comes to the second one, they just ignored me. I called in every single day to check if they already had my pricing quote ( It was 10 days total). And all they could say was to have me wait out there like a fool.I even contacted the other two dealers in the US and they got back to me one day later with pricing compared to the business I am writing this review.Dont waste your time with this business.

I have ordered and ridden several sets of wheels from Peter White and have never, never had a problem. The wheels have always been perfect, the service, communication and shipping as well. I highly value quality, integrity and customer service and Peter White and company have always exceeded my expectations.
